But they're undefeated. They probably should be ahead of us already.
Clemson is getting shafted. They are much better then MSU,TCU,Baylor
Coaches Poll is out. ND #9, Utah # 14.
Jumped by Stanford. (Whatever.)
I'd love Stanford to climb as high as possible before we beat them....
When does the coalition poll come out?
Ha, LSU jumps MSU after beating WKU
Ha, LSU jumps MSU after beating WKU
LSU has been ahead of MSU since Week 7
They jumped TCU this week and Clemson jumped them both.
Coaches Poll:
Only 2 SEC teams in Top 10 and only 3 in the Top 20.
Now, this poll actually seems legit. And of the 2 (LSU and Alabama) in the Top 10... they play each other on Nov.7th, so somethings gotta give... Either LSU gets bounced out of West division/conference championship/playoff scenarios or Alabama gets eliminated from playoff talk with 2 losses.
Never. People will still think Alabama deserves a spot.
Who are you ranting against here?Nah quit complaining about something that didn't even happen.
Take off the rose colored glasses and think about it this way: Notre Dame lost a game it should have won that's worth jack & shit. A team gives away a game with crazy numbers of turnovers and mental lapses on key opening drives and someone wants credit for something? Nah.
The best you can hope is that it won't be held against them TOO MUCH if everything else pans out.
Coaches poll looks more or less legit. They've been pretty good all year. Stanford played and ND had a bye so they get the jump.
Where ND stands right now is that Clemson has to lose to Florida State. If ND and Clemson win out, it will likely be a Clemson that beat Notre Dame versus Notre Dame for that 4th slot
Who are you ranting against here?
One thing that I think ND people should hammer is that of all one loss teams, ND has by far the "best" loss. It was also the closest to winning the game, and in the harshest environment, and against the best team. A two-point loss in Death Valley where you lost on a failed conversion at the end is much more respectable than losing by multiple scores to Northwestern or Ole Miss at home.
Not sure if it will matter much, because if Stanford ends the season with only one loss we will have lost at least a second game and if Alabama finishes with one loss, they will have better wins on their resume than ND. But still, at this point in the horse race I think it is absurd that ND is behind two one-loss teams.
Sure. Iowa is terrible. I'm dead serious that if I had an AP vote I would not rank any B1G teams. I think they are all fraudulent. I am sure that Wisconsin and Northwestern are bad, also. But like I said, this is all kind of trivial and doesn't matter because it will all come out in the wash. Even though I think the B1G is terrible, I also think there's no chance Iowa runs the table.

Iowa is not terrible. They have a very good offensive line, running game, and defense. They aren't explosive, but Bethard is taking care of the ball and is deceptively mobile.
Are they actually a top 10 team? I don't think so. Strength of schedule is 37, which is not nearly as low as people want to make it out to be. And if Northwestern is bad, what happened to Stanford?
