Adam Gorney from Rivals is trying to confirm whether Mama will be in this weekend with Josh Rosen for the OU game. His coach said that he was either gonna be at ND or Wiscy this weekend and Gorney points out Wiscy is on the road so traveling there doesn't make much sense. Either way some that could develop over the week. With that said there are rumors that he's hearing Mama has a long way to go academically and he's unsure if thats something he's addressing or not.

I'm with you. I don't know how this can be that great of a recruiting tool... unless we pack the stadium with ND fans and make a mockery of ASU for 60 minutes, which i frankly don't see happening, this will just be a cool foot in the door sort of situation for 90% of the recruits.

Either way, plleaasse don't lay an egg.

A lot of them are guys that we will probably never hear from again that got some mail and decided to go. It's not like its 75 elite prospects.

why not?? it's not an official..it's a foot in the door with some...possibly a chance on someone we never had a chance with and a chance to build some relationships between players

From what I understand, Notre Dame can provide tickets to the game but there isn't any interaction so the more the merrier as far as giving prospects a glimpse of your brand.

Wiltfong said that as far as he knows we can give out as many tickets as we want, we just can't interact with them while there. He assumes that the top prospects will then be followed up with after the game.
