I don't think Ishaq will go pro, let alone be a first rounder, but watch the spring game and tell me one player who played better. Ishaq is going to have a huge year. He was close to train-wrecking a number of plays in the spring game.

Dammit the Bears are missing the playoffs again. No point of even watching the season.

Its a really crazy mock. I mean just look at it. But this made me laugh (though only cause I can't read and thought he meant they took Nix and considered him at QB...)
10. San Diego Chargers – Louis Nix, DT, Notre Dame. Gave serious thought to QB as Rivers continues to struggle.

Yeah. Kind of feels like a grab-bag of big-name players (five QBs in the first nine picks?) not to mention the opposite of the lineman-fest that happened the other night. And much as I love Ishaq's potential, first round next year seems like a stretch.
But I guess you can take it for what little it's worth. And I think he's got Clowney right.

Bennet Jackson has a much better shot than Ishaq at being a 1st rounder next year. But hey, you never know.

McCarron is going to have the wheels fall off this year , lots of interceptions and his girl will leave him in search of Irish Chocolate.

This one is much better. The love of Lynch is both understandable and crazy. You better believe teams will look into his transfer from ND and after talking with coaches/teammates he could very well suffer a huge drop for character concerns.

Zach Martin got in there too (in addition to Nix and Tuitt)! 75 (aka top 10 in third round)!

Lord help our competition if Ishaq has a season resulting in a 1st round pick.

NO way I see it happening, but I wouldn't complain.

Aaron could easily be a 1st rounder imo. I have no idea how he's been training, but if he's been working hard, improving his character, and keeping the same crazed intensity... well, I see no reason why he couldn't put up insane stats this year.

Still crazy to think our D-Line could be Lynch, Nix, Tuitt this year.

That would have been mind boggling.

If Ishaq goes at 32, that means Shembo went sooner.

I'm okay with that!

McShay and Scouts, Inc. top 32 players

2014 NFL draft -- Todd McShay's first Top 32 for 2014 - ESPN

Has Nix at #7
Analysis: Nix is a massive nose tackle with the size (6-foot-3, 326 pounds) and strength to be a two-gap plugger in the NFL. He was one of the only Notre Dame defenders who consistently held his own against Alabama in the national title game, and the Fighting Irish were not nearly as effective against the run when he was out of the lineup. Nix also shows surprising quickness and agility for his size.

Tuitt at #18
Analysis: Tuitt has top-10 potential, but we want to see him play with more consistent leverage and effort in 2013. His bulk is well-proportioned, and he is athletic for his size, but can he take it to the next level? He can play the 3-technique in a four-man front or 5-technique in a three-man line.

Said this all last year that Tuitt has immense talent, but he is not consistence game to game and even play to play.

Clown for Clowney

Ishaq going first round? Did this guy use the 2011 Rivals 100 to make his draft predictions?

Scouts Roundtable: The Top Defensive Prospects in the Country - CBSSports.com

Notre Dame nose guard Louis Nix moves like a 280-pounder, not the 330 pounds or whatever he's up to now. Love the combination of power, quickness and vision to see what's going on all around him. It's scary good. These types are always in high demand, although I haven't talked to him yet and don't know what his off-field habits are – I've heard he's a likeable kid anyways. The UCLA pass rusher (Anthony Barr) still needs some technique work and I'm not convinced he knows what he's doing, but it works for him, he has a chance to be really, really good at our level.
