Elijah Hood = STUD!

I usually lazily focus on 5-10 recruits that we are legitimately are in the mix for and brush the rest aside. To long of a process to stay focused on 2,000 kids.

I really like Elijah Hood as the one tailback we take in this class. Super talented and a definite ND type of kid.

Mason Cole and KC McDermott are two of the best lineman in the country. Love what they bring to the table. I'm also really pulling for Reilly Gibbons.

Andrew Williams, Enoch Smith, and Malik McDowell provide a solid nucleus in our front seven class. Andrew Trumbetti is a kid I really like that may not be rated as high.

Jeb Blazevich is our best chance at an elite TE in this class in my opinion.

I just wanted to say im so excited about recruiting this year. We are already in on 2 of the top 5 kids both with legitimate interest in ND. Along with Hayes Brent and Greer this could be a class that is low in numbers but very high in talent.

Peppers in my number 1. Then possibly Dawkins. I don't see why hes not much highly rated. Seems to have a possible Logan Thomas type body. But actually has a skill set

So much drool. Think about this:

RB: Elijah Hood - :s::s::s::s: .9672

WR: Justin Brent - :s::s::s::s: .9145

TE: Jeb Blazevich - :s::s::s::s: .9243

OL: KC McDermott - :s::s::s::s::s: .9958
OL: Mason Cole - :s::s::s::s: .9655
OL: Jimmy Byrne - :s::s::s::s: .9215

SDE: Malik McDowell - :s::s::s::s::s: .9922
WDE: Andrew Williams - :s::s::s::s: .9308
DL: Jay Hayes - :s::s::s::s: .9647
DE: Andrew Trumbetti - :s::s::s::s: .9631
DT: Enoch Smith - :s::s::s: .8667

OLB: Greer Martini - :s::s::s::s: .9133

That is some serious talent. To think that it's not even that impossible is mindblowing. ...2013 who?

Think I've read Garrett will never qualify for admissions and Morgan is unlikely.

I believe there are a lot of targets in the Top 100 - not saying they have interest in ND right now but they are targets. Braden Smith for example and Malik McDowell, etc.

247 is low on him for whatever reason. They give him a 90 but his composite is almost 95.

so that makes two players from North Carolina that are 5* on Rivals, but not as highly rated by 247.

Interesting.

Yeah it will be interesting to see what happens to his composite once ESPN and Scout evaluate him. It's odd that Rivals has him #14 overall in the class but there isn't much on the interwebz about him.

I thought the same thing and when I went to ESPN to look at him, they have him listed as 6'2 and 255. Just an odd thing overall.

Saw that too, I am guessing/hoping that doesn't include DE/OLBs (CATs LBs)

I was hoping we would take 2 CATs, 1 DOG, and 2 ILBs

In this article Miclisse says that Alford told him ND is taking 3 LBs in the '14 cycle.

That can't be right. Unless the staff starts converting Safeties, we'll only have 9/16 LBs on scholarship heading into 2014. Taking only 3 leaves us at 12/16. If Martini isn't counted as one of the 3, that gets us closer to an acceptable number, but it's still puzzling.

Since Miclisse is an ILB, I'm hoping Alford meant 3 ILBs in this cycle.

i was wondering this too...cj, baratti, shumate are the only ones i could see physically getting moved but that would take some real work....but one would have to be more inclined to see this as 3 inside guys
