Is that our first Corey Holmes sighting? Great catch in the corner of the endzone at about 2:45.

Sheldon Day >> Tuitt.

Bryant is just filthy.

Surprised we haven't seen/heard of Blankership or Jay Hayes yet.

Amir could be a huge player.

Cody Riggs has a chance to be on the squad.

I have liked this guy since the day he committed to ND. I don't think he will ever be a flashy type player, but he has the skillset to be a solid WR for the Irish in the coming years.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear Folston talk about Kelly's relationship with the players. IIRC he was almost a NSD defection, and we've had mixed results in Florida so I really love when guys stick it out and find their spot ala Nix.

They are wearing the new UA pants. Glad to see they haven't changed except a lil white outline around the interlocking "ND".

Quick question. Was Autry Denson the last running back from Florida that led the team in rushing? That would be something if they lived up to that hype.

Armondo Allen did twice, but the numbers weren't that impressive compared to Densons.

Ishaq beating Lombard on that rep was encouraging for the defense and disheartening for the offense. I thought Lombard would be really good for us this year.

I hope Ishaq can continue this high level of play, would love to see him make big contributions and a paycheck in the NFL.

Oh yeah: Bryant and Folston and Cam are going to put up some numbers and Brent really impresses me.

All of the Chris Brown breakout year chatter seems deserved. This may be his time.

I really hope our OLine can perform up to expectations.

Amir Carlisle seems to be really settling in. It looks like he's attacking the ball and running crisper routes, he might be a big piece of this offense.

Is the team done at Culver and finishing August's practices back at campus?

This is a bit of a dead horse, but how many times was Farley beat on the latest practice video? At the 3:00 mark he just gave up after Prosise got by him! I hope the coaches got on him for that.

I feel very good about the backfield, but the continued health and progression of the underclassmen will be key to their success this year, in my opinion. On that note, has anyone seen any reps or heard anything about Baratti? I might have missed him. Curious how he's doing with the harness.

Agree with Veritate that Ishaq looked good! Day too -- love the energy he plays with. You can tell they both like the new system. Day is going to disrupt some backfields this year. Odds are that he stays for his senior year, even if he blows up this season, right?

If they're real, he's certified bod squad. Waiting final confirmation.

Was that this?

If so, Pete was actually referring to when the media was allowed to see the first practice last week. This will now be the second time the media has full access, so he is looking to see if they pop again a week later.

“@NDatRivals: Tyler Luatua continues to be a very intriguing athlete, worked in the backfield as an H-back today.”

“@ISDUpdate: Freshman TE Tyler Luatua is getting a lot of work in real action. Pushing hard already for PT”

“@NDatRivals: Probably the most noteworthy performance by Josh Atkinson in his career, aggressive and in position at corner with the 1st team.”
