Anna and ISD noting that based on the team reps today Bryant is making a case to being #1 on the RB depth chart.

You repped me for a post with literally the same post and picture you just used when Bryant broke his long run in the spring game.

It was such a good post that I had to borrow it in this case.

IE takes allegations of plagiarism very seriously. TheRealLynch51 and Riddickulous will be suspended from all further IE activities while a full investigation is made. May God have mercy on their souls.

I'll be there. Was so looking forward to this, and then the shit storm happens fml.

I remember last year at this time, I came out of practice feeling better about Rees, but worse about the team bc there was very little fire, far less than I had ever seen at a ND practice. Especially from the defensive line. Nix and especially Tuitt were just going through the motions, putting as little effort in as possible.

I'm hoping to see some fire today. I'm hoping to see the team galvanized by this. Unfortunately, if rumors of others on the team also being involved, I could possibly see some unfocused players. I'm hoping not though...

Looking forward to your thoughts.

Dang. I wish I'd thought of that.

I went to the practice today, I'm not a superstar analyst yet, but here's some random things I saw:

Luatua, Randolph, Smythe, Matuska, Brent sitting out of practice.

Kyle Brindza nailed his field goals (medium length) but missed an extra point. Newsome seemed to miss all the field goals (2 short-medium length). Newsome is also pretty skinny, and wearing Troy's old 85, doesn't help.

Cam mcdaniel got injured. It didn't look too serious, though I didn't notice him return to practice. Greg bryant did a lot of short catching out of the backfield. Looked solid. Reps-wise he seems to be passing Folston.

Malik Zaire threw a ball that landed one yard away from his foot. Not intentionally.

7on7, offense looked like it was struggling. They got better in the red zone. Robinson's a beast, though he was mainly paired up with Watkins.

Prosise was wide open deep. Busted coverage was probably due to Redfield. Golson threw to CJ for a touchdown.

I didn't notice as much defensive pass-interference. Not as much as previous practice videos would seem to suggest.

I noticed Onwualu: once he was against Bryant, who caught the ball, but Onwualu seemed to have turned it incomplete. Another occasion he batted away a would-be touchdown.

Brian Kelly had some impressively loud outbursts on the two times the offense got pre-snap penalties in the red-zone. (one against Kizer)

Turf looks good. And Jaylon's legs.

McDaniel didn't return bc it was like the 3rd to last play of the practice. Looked like a collarbone, but he was checked out and looked fine,

He was CRUSHED by Utopo on that play btw.

That's great to hear Bryant is coming into his own. He is going to have a big year for us.

I would really like to get the backs involved in the passing game. Now that we can stretch the field deep it should leave some room to work underneath for the backs.

Good battles going on, besides Farley at the :55 mark. Gets beat then just gives up. WTF.

Yeah pretty common theme on these videos. The very next play Riggs is beat but doesn't give up and is able to knock the ball down I think. Can see quite the contrast in the effort seemingly being given.
