UNC's offense is terrible for Hood. If anything, he should be going to South Carolina. UNC is a legit spread team.

I thought Renner was supposed to be a pretty good QB for UNC?

He's done a nice job of keeping plays alive both inside and outside of the pocket, and he's often throwing on the run, but I'm still not impressed by his arm if the ball is going more than 10 yards in the air.

Don't quite get the infatuation with him. He can be so dominant at times and be nonexistent during long stretches of the game. He reminds me of the Freak J. Kearse but without the heart. Clowney appears to be a great person but his half hearted effort at times is sad.

He's 6'7'' 280lbs, agile, and fast. You can't teach what he has.

His explosion off the line when he is giving effort is insane though. I can't tell if he knows the snap count every time or is just that good

I have said all along that if he gave full effort he could be unstoppable. Problem is that he never does.

Agree... but if he doesn't give the effort maybe some sideline time will motivate him some. Just can't stand watching all that talent give less than the best effort on each play... that's all. I know he is playing for the # 1 overall pick but his whole playing history is that way... even in high school he took a lot of "powders."

that is not a good defense... at all.

btw: go Hoosiers, last year's Hoosier defense would have already given up 28 pts to ISU. Their offense is going to have some of the best stats in the entire D1 level, but their defense needs to step and up make some stops.

I'm basing this on nothing but unsubstantiated gut feeling, but I suspect that one team will get embarrassed and exposed as being unworthy of a top 10 ranking in this game.

With Ga playing at home and S.Carolina giving up 100+ yards on the ground to the Heels tonight, I would be a little concerned if I were Stevie boy. If he can't stop the Ga rbs, Murray will eat him up over the top with play action.

I understand that it's week one and they have to introduce the freshman that are playing to the viewers, but ESPN is going way over the top IMO talking about freshman and recruiting during their game broadcasts today.

I like how CBS/NBC will mention it, but not talk about it all game long. Give the sophomores, juniors, seniors some love. They're fixated on the next 'sexy' thing.
