The coins flips have taken place. FightingIrishLover 7 is on the clock for the Colts. This should be a quick one. BTW, my 1,000th post. Must add FUM, FUM, FUSC.

Pretty certain th e Rams will trade out here. RGIII will be in this spot, but I'm going with Justin Blackmon. No surprises here.

With the number three pick, the Viqueens pick Matt Kalil USC

Edit:
Matt Kalil will fulfill two roles. He will help to open running lanes for Adrian Peterson and by protecting Christian Ponder's blindside will ease his development. The Viqueens offensive line gave up 49 sacks last season, which was tied for 4th worst in the NFC. As a combined unit they were able to get 2813 rushing yards last season which was 90 yards less than Carolina's remarkable NFC leading 2,408. With Adrian Peterson coming off a torn ACL the Vikings will have to rely on a mixed bag offense to take some of the burden off of him. To do this the OL needs to keep Ponder upright and safe in the pocket. Kalil will add stability to the line and hopefully help the Viqueens to score more offensive TDs than the pitiful 39 they scored all of last season.

With their first pick in the first round, the Cleveland Browns select Robert Griffin III. This team needs a weapon at quarterback rather than a game manager.

Edit: This is a no brainer. The Browns offense was ranked 29th in total yards/game, largely because teams could load up the box since Colt McCoy could not beat anyone with his arm. RGIII may not have the amount of wins Colt McCoy had at Texas but boasts a Heisman Trophy on his resume. Furthermore, the fantastic rookie season of Cam Newton makes this pick more enticing to teams looking to make immediate improvement. Griffin has all the physical tools and is considered by many to be a very intelligent person/qb. If Andrew Luck did not exist, RGIII would be the number 1 pick. Look for the Browns to take a WR with their next pick to help RGIII out.

Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU

The biggest weak point on the Bucs. Barber is old as dirt and Talib is a knucklehead.

I was hoping Claiborne would get to #9, but there is and was no chance. Great pic for the Bucs.

Nightmare scenario for the Skins here with Claiborne off the board. The bottom line is if this scenario arises they will be trading out of this pick to the mid-1st and looking to take the best available ILB, CB, S, or WR at that point. You can't draft someone like Kuechly or Barron or Floyd or any of the available CBs this high.

As is, since there are no trades, the Washington Redskins select Michael Brockers with the #6 pick in in the draft. Adding a massive freak athlete up front who can play multiple positions in a 3-4 will allow Kerrigan and Orakpo to really get after the QB.

Redskins can still go after Manning if they don't trade up anyway. Everyone knows their more than willing to throw money at Free Agents ;)

You royal Turd! That was going to be my selection for the Panthers at #9. Now you have me scrambling to figure out the BPA at #9.

With the 7th pick in the 2012 NFL draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select Trent Richardson.

He is a top 5 talent, had to take this steal. Jones-Drew needs a back up and hopefully will take over for him soon

Very nice. MJD has a lot of mileage on his legs, so Trent will come right in and get some solid PT. Very good pick for the Jags.

I'm not sure I'd like that pick if I were a Jax fan. They need more help than a part-time RB.

The Miami Dolphins select Melvin Ingram DE South Carolina. Ingram and wake on the same line?...I think Mark Sanchez just flinched.

Tried 4x to post and it would not let me. Said Internal Server Error.

Carolina needs WR, CB and DT. Blackmon is gone, Claiborne is gone and Brockers is gone. Cant justify taking Floyd at #9as much as I like him. Defense minded head coach Ron Rivera will take the most talented player on the board in Quinton Coples. Tremendous talents, but some question is motivation to be his very best. Have to hope that millions of dollars and a tough HC will be motivation to make him a value pick at #9. He is considered a Top 5 talent on most boards, but for that one question mark.

With the 10th Pick in the 2012 IE NFL Mock Draft, the Buffalo Bills Select:

Courtney Upshaw, Outside Linebacker, University of Alabama.

I was going to go with an Offensive Tackle or WR, but the Bills also need to address their defense yet again as they did last year with the Marcell Dareus pick. Buffalo ranked tied for 27th in the NFL with just 29 total sacks in 2011. Upshaw can fill the need of a true pass rusher. This past season, he had 52 tackles with 9.5 sacks, 18 tackles for a loss, an interception and two forced fumbles. He has scheme versatility and as Buffalo transitions to a 4-3, he will have no problem adjusting with him being 6'2'', 270. They will be able to use him in the manner Von Miller was used in Denver, pass rushing standing up or hand on the ground.

*With this pick, I am assuming the Bills do not address OLB need prior to the draft via free agency.
