I bolded the wise words.
Curious as to what you think is the weakest position group on the team tho. And Flemming played CAT his whole time here. It was Shembo who was out of position playing at DOG last year.
You are right, who was I thinking of? I know Troy played for Prince against MSU, but who else was in there at dog before Slaughter moved over, or was it Slaughter? That is probably who I met. GB suggested I meant Filer. The idea was coming too fast to get my facts straight thanks for the help! Slaughter was great. Prince had the rush part down, but that was where that ended. Prince is a cat.
This year Councell, Okwara, and Spond, (I pray he is healthy) are going (help) deflate high powered offenses!
Weakest position group? Runningback. Just kidding. Well I could say offensive tackle, because Stanley is on the depth chart 2 deep. But Stanley is really good and will not be denied. I could say the defensive backfield, but you have to understand Cooks and Elliot have performed miracles back there. There are some real monsters coming up. Wide receivers was, but they have made wholesale improvement this fall and we now have two guys that can take the top off of a defense, maybe three. This is something that everyone was afraid of with our wide outs. So I don't know; what do you think?
I think this team, and I started saying this almost two seasons ago, now has 60 players that can play. Up from about 30-35 in Weis' last year. More importantly, I think this is Kelly's team, the players love him, and their is more solidarity on this team than I have ever seen at Notre Dame before. So I think a lot of the "position groups" have solidified.
