How are we going to use him in year one?
I recon a bit like how we used Lenzy this year - except on the field a bit more.

Any way they possibly can. Sweeps, dump downs out of the back field, swing passes, tunnel screens. Get the kid in space and let the jets do the work

No, I think they’ll get him into the traditional RB rotation. I don’t think we’ll see him work the inside zone 15 times per game but I bet they want him working all parts of the game to some degree from day 1.

Design plays that gets the ball to fast guys in space...simple as that.

I may be super biased, BUT... as a huge 49ers fan, what do we have to do to send BK and OC to San Francisco in the off season, to study under Kyle Shanahan? Guy is an absolute genius and comes up with amazing plays to get our skill guys the ball.

I feel like there are a good deal of ND games where my buddies and I can predict a majority of the play calls. Obv not a good sign.

Tyree and Pyne will be playing in an hour at the UA game. Not sure how much action they’ll see but hopefully they get some.

Ran in a 3 yard TD up the middle almost untouched. Pyne had a nice drive to set it up.

Has had a couple really nice runs so far. Glad he's getting more touches than he did in the UA bowl

Chosen as ND's 2020 breakout player by ESPN...

https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/28492289/college-football-breakout-players-top-25-team-2020

10. Notre Dame Fighting Irish: RB Chris Tyree
Notre Dame's leading rusher, Tony Jones, is off to the NFL, and the Irish don't have any running backs on the roster who ran for more than 200 yards last season. The running back room needed a boost anyway, and it's going to get it from Tyree, an ESPN 300 recruit in this 2020 class. Tyree is shifty, elusive and versatile, and he has speed that this offense could use early on. He has a very good shot to come in, earn playing time and make a big impact in this offense.

Word out of Orlando is ND has lost the fastest player in their 2020 class.

From the video it appears he lost by about one shoe length maybe a tad more.

I can live with that.

I wonder how many LBs or DBs can swivel and turn and keep up with him.

I really dislike how the initial quote is worded. Sounds like he decommitted when he really just lost a race

I missed that. I took it simply as we have the second fastest guy.

But I see your point, it can be read that way.

The angst of recruiting.

The difference is the wording "their 2020 class" instead of "the 2020 class". Since Tyree is the fastest guy in ND's class, that is why I about had a heart attack when I first saw that post.

About time my troll job got some action. Jeez.

The guy he lost has run in the 10.2's and will run track at UGa so no big deal.

By all accounts he has been an unstoppable force and shows dynamic speed and burst. People think he is the most likely to go on and win the heisman next year as a true freshmen. At least those are the things I tell myself whenever I look at our 2020 schedule and start to worry...
