Will decide in July. Final 4 is Purdue, Ga Tech, ND and Nebraska, per starbucks. My money says Purdue or ND. I'll say Purdue just because of what Rondale Moore has done. They have the same game.

Hmm.. no Baylor. Wonder what's going on here.

Ithink his dad is pushing ND. Apparently it was his dream school growing up and Holtz never offered.

Are there many situations in major college ball where a kid plays on a team where his dad is an assistant? I could see how that might get awkward.

Also, dad being a professional assistant football coach, he's probably well aware that the odds he's still coaching at Baylor by the time Will's Senior Day rolls around are rather low, and wants him to do what's best for Will in the long run, which may be somewhere other than Baylor.

Either way, I'd take him, especially if he's up for playing corner.

Right. Amir transferred across the country in part to be closer to his family, but not to the school where his dad was coaching.

The Van Gorders are a fair point, but worth noting MVG was a walk-on, not a recruited, front-line player. Dynamics are a little different. Either way, good on him for working his way into a contributing role, and for sticking after things went bad for Dad.

Paid dividends too.

BVG wasn't a very good DC, but he was smart enough to have his son stick it out and get the degree from ND.

2 Nebraska CBs today.

You're welcome for your scraps, peasants.

Ruhle and/or Dad gotta be on the way out of Waco. ND & Stanford I can see picking over Dad's employer but Nebraska?

That’s what I said when the question first came up about his seeming lack of interest in Baylor.

Rhule is heading to the NFL as long as Baylor finishes bowl eligible.

It was stated fairly early on (but not much after that) that his dad didn’t want to coach him or pick a school based on that. I’m sure some of that is because of how short the tenures can be at each school.
