Just watched his film. Really fluid speed. Just looks like a pure athlete. Kind of a theo riddick APB type. Will get a ratings bump if senior year is good.

You're right 88, nice film.

I guess WR/slot/APB isn't going like we hoped. This offer is surprising to me. Him and Henning in the same class with Young, Lenzy & Keys on the roster?

Wiltfong CB'd him last night.

I get the feeling ND is getting sick.of waiting on Henning. Its been a while and he basically wanted to go to OSU until they heard about his hip. ND may be doing what they did to Kyren when they offered Brock last year. As long as ND gets Jordan Johnson I think I'll be happy.

Is this fact?

I know some coaches in his neck of the woods and I've heard they cooled to some level but I didn't know he preferred OSU over ND. The vibe I got was ND is the leader but he wanted OSU and Mich to recruit him hard so he could go through the visit process and hang out with other top recruits on the trail. Not saying that's fact either would just be a new level of info to know when it comes to him and ND/OSU's dynamic

I think we've talked about how his injury/production has changed the way programs look at him... I know I want to see the production because I think his R&R's are built more on myth & expectations right now than his entire body of work.

That was what I heard and my sources are usually reliable regarding the big 10 schools. No sources on this one but from.what I said before I think ND is moving forward and making other offers at his position, like will Nixon, because he is slow playing them for some reason.

he isn't a led pipe lock to Baylor?

In the end, seems like a safe offer to a coach's kid who you don't have to worry about committing... like last year's courtship of Raymond Woodie III who was going to FSU with his Dad from the get.

But then there's that Wiltfong CB (???). Just found his freebie write up on Nixon:

https://247sports.com/college/notre...iam-Nixon-high-on-Notre-Dame-offer-129667634/

Waco (Texas) Midway 2020 receiver William Nixon left South Bend on Saturday with an offer from Notre Dame.

The 5-foot-10, 180-pound Nixon also holds offers from Baylor among others.

"Like Notre Dame a lot," Nixon said when asked which schools are standing out. "Aside from great football is the education. Just a great school in general, a lot of history and a great campus."

Nixon's father Jeff is an assistant coach on the Baylor staff. "I obviously think my hometown team compares and very excited about Baylor as well," Nixon said.

I agree with Crus. I think it is a legit offer . . .but it is a leverage offer to sway Henning to commit earlier

Was previously scheduled to OV to PSU for June 21st. Also, being recruited as a DB. FWIW, his father played at PSU

Yeah I actually like his WR film a lot. Similar to AJ Henning's film. Very athletic and shifty. I am very surprised he is even going on an official given his pedigree. You'd think Baylor would be a lock.

Apparently there is more confidence brewing toward ND than we thought. His dad really wanted to go to ND but never got an offer. Seems his dad is trying to make sure he is open to ND. Really odd considering he coaches at Baylor.

Could be that he wants to spread his wings and get away from home, even if dad is an FBS coach. Could be that dad thinks Rhule is heading to the NFL after another year.

Or dad just understands the nature of bring a college coach and wants his son to make best decision for himself.

Either way, it seems that if Nixon wants in, he is a take. Apparently they like him in there nickel package as the slot corner. I still say he ends up like Joe Wilkins but having that versatility will help. If ND does not land Henning or McMillan he is good insurance policy.

To me he is a slightly slower version of Henning. I think if he can play nickel, great. If not we got Henning light on offense

He has really quick feet and seems sure-handed. Given his flexibility, he looks like he'd be a very nice addition to the class.

6/1 Nebraska, 6/15 GT, 6/19 Purdue, 6/22 ND. I imagine a decision will come shortly. Remember Baylor is in play as well.

Crusadervision says... Father and son will be together next season at Baylor or elsewhere or Junior is on the Brohm Squad and pops is in the NFL.

Will decide in July. Final 4 is Purdue, Ga Tech, ND and Nebraska, per starbucks. My money says Purdue or ND. I'll say Purdue just because of what Rondale Moore has done. They have the same game.

When I see Nixon squat a VW Bug, I'll agree with you.

Rondale is the only guy in the country who runs away, by, around, over or through opposing players depending on his mood.

Let me rephrase, I think Nixon chooses Purdue because of what Rondale Moore has done and he thinks he can do the same.
