Well what was Jerry Rice's excuse then?
Marvin Harrison had Peyton Manning.
You could also say Peyton had Marvin
Marvin tore it up in college too for 3 years.
It was really 2 solid years and one holy shit year... He also had Donovan McNabb in that holy shit year
I just hope he doesn't have a night life. Just the books and football. Lets go!
People's fascination with physical measurables is pretty funny.
There are countless smaller receivers in both college and NFL that have been very productive as a #1 receiver.
Yes because I clearly said he could not be a #1 reciever at 6'0. JFC we have some ninnies on this board at times.
"Player is shorter than expected, that's not ideal."
"Have you never heard of *NFL legend at that height*?"
It's harder. That's all I said. 6'2 projects better than 6'0. It's not a determinative factor but it's not rocket science that taller is better.

My post wasn't individually directed towards you, I wouldn't take it personal. I just hope he's a great route runner.
Neither was mine, just find it funny how a concern about measurements turns into an opportunity for everyone to "akshually" with their favorite All-Pro with the same characteristic.
My favorite thing to do when we find out that a receiver is shorter than his listed height is to rehash all of the short #1 receiver types that BK has coached, dating back to UC or even CMU days.
Did you guys know that Mardy Gilyard was really good as a #1 outside receiver when asked to line up outside of the hash marks even though he was short???

Golden Tate is 5'10" and he did alright in college.Yeah it concerned me too. It's a lot harder to be a #1 WR at 6'0 than 6'2.

He’s special. This is the guy we never get from the SEC. watch what happens the next few years.

Haven't seen him in the game so far..is he playing?
Caught a 15 yard pass at the end of the half. Just prior to the INT. First time I noticed him.
