There is a St. Johns in Shrewsbury Ma. Ron Darling (pitched for the Mets in 86 WS and later for Oakland and possibly the Sox) went there then to Yale.

Why Brunelle? Not knowing anything about them, just looking at film and measurables, Wilson is a better choice. I think Brunelle may be a better reciever right now, but Wilson;s measurables make up for that right now.
Right now, in this current time, would not be the time I'd question the staff on who they offer and pursue. It's hard to question an offer that was given out after an in-person, live tryout.

They saw him in person, not just a highlight film. And he had speed. Apparently Drew Pyne threw too him at the Opening regionals and they had a 100% completion rate, too.

I'm all for Brunelle after the staff watched him workout. I like small, speedy guys but Brunelle looks like a very good WR with no noticeable weak areas. Good hands, really good speed and build and he's a cultural fit coming from an all boys Catholic high school.
Would be a great addition to this team.
**I also hope he can add 10-15 lbs and keep or improve on his speed - I've longed for an Anquan Boldin/Hines Ward- style receiver. It's probably a poor comparison but Brunelle looks strong for a high school WR.

If his offer is commitable then I think he pulls the trigger right away, him and Pyne have developed a good relationship out at camps
Of course it is all potential at this point, but I would love to have another Shark on the roster.
