Done for the year...smh Can he take a medical redshirt and come back?
He can, question is, will he want to?Done for the year...smh Can he take a medical redshirt and come back?
I believe that he has an extra year since he only played three games this year and has the COVID year.Done for the year...smh Can he take a medical redshirt and come back?
Exactly. To whose benefit would it be for him to come back for a sixth year? Undoubtedly fans and the coaching staff for sure. What is ultimately best for him as far as next steps? Jordan likely leaves Notre Dame with two degrees. That's the EXACT bill of goods we as a fan base have convinced ourselves of and have been selling to the choir for years. 40 year decision, right? He can, question is, will he want to?
The OL getting rolled up on was terrible luck, nothing more.Landow….already three starters down(4) three weeks in. Hopefully he brought his broncos medics with him.
He might make more cashing NIL cheques at ND vs going undrafted to the league.Exactly. To whose benefit would it be for him to come back for a sixth year? I wish him well. Makes no difference to me if he plays another down of football ever again. Hope he does what's best for him and whatever he decides will be the right thing.
I think it would be in his best interest to return. He might make more cashing NIL cheques at ND vs going undrafted to the league.

NIL or not, if he has NFL ambitions, you have a certain amount of snaps you play in the League. If he's going into the Draft as a 25 year old his shelf life is that much shorter. Surely if it's about the money, he can attempt to remain eligible until his late twenties if that's what he's looking to do.He might make more cashing NIL cheques at ND vs going undrafted to the league.
I mean idk exact NIL figures but I would imagine coming back for another year of ball at ND and improving NFL chances would be a better financial decision than walking away from the game now. Jobs are still available a year later if it doesn't work out.Exactly. To whose benefit would it be for him to come back for a sixth year? Undoubtedly fans and the coaching staff for sure. I don't think he's shown the NFL enough to get drafted after being out a season, but you never know.He can, question is, will he want to?
I get it. As a fan, my initial reaction when a fifth year senior is injured for the year isn't "can he come back next year?", though. It speak to the whole point of what culture we're trying to preach.I mean idk exact NIL figures but I would imagine coming back for another year of ball at ND and improving NFL chances would be a better financial decision than walking away from the game now. UMiami has a guy in his 9th year.I get it. As a fan, my initial reaction when a fifth year senior is injured for the year isn't "can he come back next year?", though. It speak to the whole point of what culture we're trying to preach.
He was an early enrollee too. You stay on a college campus this long, you'd better be cutting people open and saving lives at that point.
Yeah fuck that kid that really wants to be here while attending classes, and also plays his heart out for our amusement, because he won't cure cancer or some shit. Do you even hear yourself?I get it. Lighten up Francis.Yeah fuck that kid that really wants to be here while attending classes, and also plays his heart out for our amusement, because he won't cure cancer or some shit. Do you even hear yourself?

This guy is a great example of everything Marcus Freeman is trying to sell: he stayed out of the portal, was likely on his way into the NFL having a good start to his final season, got injured his fifth year as a grad senior and is going to walk away with two ND degrees. That's the idea that supposed to make all of this unique to recruits.
A lot of people go to college for seven years…I get it. As a fan, my initial reaction when a fifth year senior is injured for the year isn't "can he come back next year?", though. It speak to the whole point of what culture we're trying to preach.

Been a while since I saw you here, hope all is well on the Islands!I've been watching this kid since he was a sophomore in high school. To me he was the third-best LB I've personally watched in Hawaii, but we only saw flashes of that at ND. Two of his HS classmates are now in the NFL. Hopefully he can make it too.
Nice to have our own scout out on the state that doesn't deserve statehood!Been a while since I saw you here, hope all is well on the Islands!
Drafting him after what, a couple of games of nice play, off a major knee injury? Nobody does that with even 7th round picks.I don't think he's shown the NFL enough to get drafted after being out a season, but you never know.
You had me in the first half ngl lolNice to have our own scout out on the state that doesn't deserve statehood!
