Injuries. Better to have it than not. I agree that I wouldn't expect him to be a 5 year guy but injuries ruin even the best athletes plans.

I'm really looking forward to hearing Freeman dissect the roster this Spring.

I can geek out on this stuff rather quickly. And, I always loved listening to Lea talk about the roster and player development. And the new DC brings new excitement.

IMO seeing development and coaches mold talent is what makes college football more interesting to follow than NFL.

I think Foskey will be a starter this year. It seems like whenever I watched him this past year he was making play after play.

It's far too early to be anticipating the fall season but I'm excited to see what Marcus Freeman does with this load of defensive talent.

Found it interesting recently to read on twitter I believe that he was sent home at one point. Sounds like he needed to mature. I believe it was in an interview with Elston. Usually those guys don't pan out too well for us, but I think it speaks to the character of the kid and his family understanding he needs Notre Dame more than Notre Dame needs him. Hoping the dude explodes this year.
