Its a domino Effect.
FWIW, we still have an OV which gives us a chance to get back some momentum but right now it sounds like all the MO is with LSU. And to me, that doesn't sound like a recruitment we usually win. Not saying it can't happen, I just don't see it as likely, right now.
What an odd situation though. When was the last time LSU and ND went toe to toe for a prospect from Arizona?
It's like ND battling Oregon for a prospect from Tennessee.
Was the kid's name French? What ever happened to him?
Agree. Is rare. Reminds me of a prospect I'd forgotten about.
Kid from Iowa a few years back, 4-star, OLB/WR Claypool-type. We finished runner-up to Oregon.

At first I was high on him because of seeing him play
Then his stock soared because a network guy out here put him on commit watch during a conversation with me.
Then he blew up nationally and played 7v7 with Ringo, Robinson and the rest of the Sag U media diva's. Over time, stock falls to all time low from reading ND & National Network coverage.
Talk to Network types at Pinnacle's Showcase and they are still very much on ND's side. Mention his family being ND type people. Stock <strike>cautiously rising</strike> soaring again.
I know he’s officially visited LSU and Oklahoma and will probably visit Texas in late May/June, but I think it’s really between Notre Dame (June 8) and Ohio State (June 22) with a decision hopefully coming June 9.
You may be right, IDK. I'm too lazy to do the research, but Terry Jillery says hello.
When he announced his family came out in green...the big question at the time was what shade of green?!Christian French
DB Lathan Ransom — The four-star safety from Tucson (Ariz.) Salpointe Catholic was tremendous in coverage, showing his fluidity in space and ability to react to receivers. He was smooth in his backpedal, didn’t bite on double moves and jumped a number of passes. Ransom has very good ball skills and great instincts, making him a versatile defensive back that could fill a variety of roles in a secondary although he projects best as a down-hill safety who plays with his hair on fire. He has taken official visits to Oklahoma and LSU, and plans to take trips to Notre Dame, Ohio State and Texas before making a late-summer college commitment. He also landed an invite to The Opening Finals following the camp.
And Jalen Elliott is a legit player now too.
Absolutely and I bet both have very good years. Just easier to show a recruit the graphic that PFF put out on Alohi
Isn’t his visit this weekend?
