They used to have a page explaining the selection process, but it 404s now. IIRC, there's a minimum number of slots reserved for players from Hawaii schools, some consideration for mainland players of Polynesian descent and then basically a number of slots for best available.

I think of everybody in the class, Clark is the guy I undervalued the most but since going over his Sr. highlights... I've completely adjusted my thinking regarding him.

What I see now is Eric Dungey 2.0. He's a dynamic runner. He'll run around, through or away from a defender. He's a better runner than Book and has a lot more beef to take (and give) a hit.

Might have been because he and Reesus went undefeated in the cornhole tourney while Clark was there (he mentioned it last night lol)

I might have missed some of his reps, but both times I saw him inserted, he didn't even get a whole series, or even start with a 1st and 10. He started once with a 2 and 12, and the second was a 3 and 10+ IIRC.

I think he's going to be sneaky good. Great stats. Our QB situation is embarrassingly good for the next several years. Book has 2 years left, five star Phil has 4, Clark 5 years out, and Pyne that's not even here yet looks really good. So for the next 6 years, we've got pretty darn good quality. Good to be Reesus.

I love to see a guy grinding away, no matter what is in front of him. He’s one play away and it’s good to see him working hard at the things that he can control. He hasn’t been shabby in the few opportunities he’s had and things like this are why. Also you never hear of him complaining about burn during blowouts or anything like that. I’d absolutely ride with a guy like that.
