Notre Dame will likely place Olmstead and Quinn Carroll atop their offensive tackle board for the '19 recruiting cycle. Both are Top-150 prospects from Big Ten country. Both boast 20-plus offers and stand 6-foot-6 and weigh 290-pounds.

"Me and Quinn Carroll talk, actually, being we are both doing the same thing," Olmstead said. "Me and him are probably the top two at our position in the 2019 class.

I like the sound of that. Two Top 10 HS OT's in the same class... Like TK + Liam and Q + Bars... if they continue to pull two a class like that every two years, they'll always have one of the top lines in the country.

Loy gave Olmstead a CB for the Irish yesterday. Surprised that was his first. I'd be the house him and Carroll are in the '19 class and it wouldn't surprise me if they are both on board sooner rather than later.

I'd like to see Quinn come back for the Navy game for the simultaneous commitment.
