Tough to not be interested in a Top 60 player if he's interested. Especially one that claimed ND was his Dream School. But ND looks to have put Jowon Briggs on the outside looking in and he was the highest rated DT ND had on the board.

And out of curiosity, what has he done to draw a Stepherson comparison?

I have a hard time seeing us really recruiting him at this time, as even PSU and OSU have somewhat stalled their recruitments of him since he was booted from Bergen. Though maybe some of that has changed.

We actually land a lot of kids that grow up with an affinity for ND. Not sure about kids that actually call it their dream school but Phil J was a lifelong ND fan, for example.

He had good enough transcripts for Duke and BC to offer (at one point).

Is he athletically eligible is another question to ask. He and his dad reportedly moved to the next town and he's transferring schools. The fishy part? These schools are just two miles apart.
