I don’t think he’s ever been visited by the staff during the recruiting period which should tell you that they’ve backed off. Same thing with no one making it out to Hawaii (Enokk Vimahi). Sounds like it’s just Asa Turner (not gonna happen) and Isaiah Foskey.

That's what I thought.

Thought it was weird he put us in his final top 5, wanted to check.

And possibly Chambers??? (hoping!)

A few scUM CB’s. I feel like ND could have had this one, but filled up a little early at WR. I sure hope Hart and Abdur Rahman are worth it because I think Johnson is better than both of them right now. Both of them are extremely raw as WR’s. One a QB and one a raw athlete in a running offense with underwhelming film. The staff better be right on this one. Hope we didn’t settle at WR just because they are “RKG’s”. IMO they must land 3 solid to big time WR’s in 2020.

I think the plan is to get them to be WRs. ND is all in on 2020 and in good shape there for now. Hart has position flexibility and has stated he would rather play defense. He would make a good rover or Safety since he has played offense and has good ball skills. KAR is just a pure athlete. I think he could excel at APB, WR, or CB.

Cam Hart is the hardest recruit to explain in this class. Hope I'm wrong and he's a sleeper.

Watch his film and you will see why they want him. Also he has position flexibility and can play D if needed.

BK has earned the benefit of the doubt in terms of taking head-scratchers at WR, at least in terms of scouting the on-field uses.

We don't need him on Defense. We need difference makers on the offensive skill positions. I just don't see that in him.

Agreed. Thinking about how many WRs Kelly has found buried deep in the recruiting rankings. I want the big time prospects but I trust the staffs WR evals.

Hart is a nice contingency plan. He is in a similar position to Joe Wilkins when he cam in. I think cam would actually be a good free safety given his ball skills and that he has played offense. If 2020 goes well in WR recruiting do not be surprised if he converts to a DB or Rover.

I'm cool with one project, but two when you're only taking two is not the best idea. I know Abdur Rahman has wheels and is great with the football in his hands and I'm cool with converting him, but I just think they pulled the trigger too early on Cam Hart. I think they could have landed Cornelius if they had room. From everything I have heard Hart should never be a problem or distraction. He works hard and has the prototypical size. I guess we'll see. I'll gladly eat my words with this if it turns out well for us.

We have way too many Rover prospects. I don't see how he's going to beat out the other 30 athletic candidates. It'll be hard to steal a DB spot as well. I think his best bet is to stay at WR and prove everyone wrong.

Abdur Rahman is only a project because he has to learn the intricacies of the WR position but so do most high school WRs. He's a high quality athlete.

I like Cam's size and how he tracks the ball. Maybe Kelly found another diamond.

Why do you guys think they could've landed Johnson?

It always felt like a Stanford - Michigan battle to me with ND on the outside looking in.

Honestly thought it would be Stanford, but not surprised it was Michigan. i do think in ND didn't fill up at WR and continued to recruit him ND would have had a legit shot at landing him. Now Corey will just have to get used to losing while Notre Dame continues to win.

Though not official, most of the MI sites think he's a #2 outside receiver.
