Last I heard about this recruitment it was Stanford vs. Michigan vs. Notre Dame for his services. Hope ND blew him away and it sounds like they might have.

Yeah roster management comes into play and ND converted two guys to WR (Robertson and Wilkins). Plus 2020 looks very promising. I also imagine they would bring back Boykin and maybe Finke for a 5th year.

Apparently yes, the staff is now looking to add one more WR to make it three. Maybe better put, I don't think Loy knows so he's covering all his bases so in the end he is right. I think it's still just BPA and unsure about numbers of spots available. Whether he's stated it in articles or posted on the board he's mentioned WR, OL, DE or DL, and RB as all possibilities. I don't think the staff has decided. I think they are basically deciding as they go.

For example, Hooper Price was ready to decide, and they weren't ready to take him.

Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, and Stanford based on the insiders who are tagged. The problem with this recruitment is ND took their shot in early September and he’s probably going to take 3-4 OV’s after his season and then the others teams will have their shot. Too much time between thinking about ND and his decision. I really hope the staff pushes hard for the Army All American but I don’t think he’ll come.

I agree ND should take him. He seems ready to contribute already and he is talented. I'd hate to see him beat us at Stanford.

I wouldn't give high marks to this WR class, either. However, last cycle was a 5 man class (4 preserved eligibility) and that was a pretty diverse and unique group, with just about everything you'd want in a class. Add that 5 man class to this 2 man class and it's pretty darn good. Plus, I think KAR could be end up a real gem if he develops as a WR.

I don’t think he’s ever been visited by the staff during the recruiting period which should tell you that they’ve backed off. Same thing with no one making it out to Hawaii (Enokk Vimahi). Sounds like it’s just Asa Turner (not gonna happen) and Isaiah Foskey.
