30 FBS offers from the teams ND must compete with for the National Title year in and year out and I've never heard his name mentioned. If you want to continue to be the #1 Offensive Line program in the country, you can't be late to the party on Blue Chippers just because they aren't in your sweet spots. Alex Bars will be a multi year starter and he's from Tennesse too.

Come on staff. You have to associate your brand with EVERY guy at this level until it is public that he can't get in becasue of books.

1. Is there any info that ND will get involved at some point?

2. Quit putting the dash in your thread titles when you create profiles.

1. As far as I personally know, no. That is the point of this bio, to see if any of the guys who follow closely back east have read of any contact. You'd have to imagine there has been something right given his level of involvement with other rival programs?. He's in the right demo for ND that's for sure... Top ranked guy in his class, currently a LT, has offers from all ND's rivals (including an offer from Duke) and attends a Christian college prep school. He's the little red spot on the dart board.

2. ??? Can I ask why? I personally like the look. Of course if you own the board, I think it's ugly too. lol

Is it weird that Notre Dame hasn't offered him? Yeah a little bit...

but offensive line recruiting is literally the last thing I'm worried about with this team. I believe every player on the starting offensive line this year will be a future starter in the NFL; that's how good I think they can be this year. As long as HH is still here, I'm not going to worry one bit

So you guys are freaking out because we haven't offered a kid that just finished his freshman year of high school?

So that's where we're at?

I'll see myself out.

Crusader, it's more just that there's a traditional standard of a recruiting profile layout that includes hyphens being left from the title (which is also because it allows for the full thread title name to appear on the front page and in subforums without the system changing it to "'16 ATH VA - ....").

Definitely admire your willingness to put all these profiles together, we just would love to keep everything uniform. If you haven't noticed, the moderators have been deleting the hyphens from your thread titles everytime, and it would be easier to just not put one in the title to begin with. Keep up the good work!

As previously mentioned, offensive line is the last position I think ND fans should be concerned about. And much less concerned about a 2018 kid. I would much rather have Notre Dame focus their attention on 2017 TN OL Trey Smith if you are going to go the attention route.

Beau you can't think he really notices the inclusion/exclusion of one character right?

I agree with what you said 100%. ND's offensive line program from current players, coaches to pipeline is IMO, the #1 group in the country. That being said, I was looking at his info when Drake29 brought up in Kareem's bio thread the fact that we are in on relatively a small number of elite recruits. It got me thinking about how is it that the #1 OL program in the country isn't in the top group for the top OT in the class of 2018? There are people building life long relationships with the kid right now and looking at his demo's... ND should be leveraging it's current position as the premier OL destination to build relationships with kids like 2018's Will Lawrence, Cade Mayes, Austin Fontaine, Finn Dirstine and Chris Bleich ...like they have begun with Indy's Emil Ekiyor.

Not freaking out but when your product does something better than the others in your space, hammer them into submission with it. With ND's success going back to Zach Martin being a rookie All Pro straight through to the '16 committs, ND is perfectly positioned to be the FIRST program on every elite high school lineman's mind that fits the profile.

Never noticed they were stealing my hyphens. lol I remember someone saying something about it drove them crazy because of their OCD but it went in one eye and out the other. I thought they were just being silly.

No more hyphens.

While we are talking about layouts. Can we get a 2018 forum? I've got 200+ ready to roll.
