Colzie is 6'4 and was a high level triple jumper. Wish they would have given him a chance to make a play down the field over somebody. That could have been a deep threat.
Singer from ON3 reporting he’s heard Lenzy is likely moving on.
Want him back and still think he can impact the team positively, but he had a lot of targets yesterday for his production. Not much bang for the buck. He doesn’t have great route running and he’s not a great hands guy. Tough to produce without one or the other even with that speed
To the CFL?
Coming back. Good news!
Coming back. Good news!
Good news. Get Styles and Colzie to stay and that’s an adequate receiver group on paper.
Is them leaving still a possibility?
No way Styles leaves.
He had a season that says his eyes should be on the NFL asap and he will be number 1 guy next season at ND.
While continuing to develop him as a WR is important. I think they Need to develop him into the offense more like Chip Kelly did with De’Anthony Thomas. Maybe not quite that many carries but more. He had 13 carries in 2019 and 5 this year. He’s averaging almost 15/carry between those two seasons.
This is much needed. Why would Styles and Colzie decide to transfer? Styles showed at the Fiesta bowl he can be a #1 WR and Colzie will get more PT next year. ND has Merriweather coming in and Jayden Thomas. IF anything they should look to get 1 from the transfer portal or sign 1 in February if anyone is left.
Because Styles is a #1 WR and either Buchner can't throw a football or Rees is nuts, and it's more likely Buchner can't throw.
