Lord most of you get butt hurt on here if a get visits another school grow up!!! It's a part of the process if we are really worried about one of our kids going to another school to check it out then we shouldn't consider ourselves one of the elites in college football.

We're not one of the elites in college football right now, which is why it's important to hang on to recruits like this. We're not good enough to lose 4 and 5 stars to decommitments and then blow it off like it's no big deal. People justifiably get worried when they see one of our top recruits visiting another school, especially when the recruit lives 2000 miles away and is visiting his in-state school. Don't act like we haven't seen this play out before.

Personally, I don't get worried about Lenzy visiting Oregon because I don't count a WR from Oregon that commits before the season as a done deal, anymore than I count on a Top 100 DB from Georgia committing.

It's not that they are dishonest or bad kids. It's just that they have professional salesmen calling their decision into question for months. It's like dating a nice, good-looking girl, while having all the other girls in your class coming on strong.

It's too early to be counting chickens.

Lenzy seems like he'll stick to me, but who knows.

The issue becomes filling the spot when the flip happens because we don't over recruit. So it's hard to find a comparable level talent late.

Hanging on the whims of 17/18 years olds words/actions and trying to forecast their decisions 10 months out based on a freaking photo is the definition of insanity. Take the next quarter off people. Let the process play itself out.

Absolutely right.

Yup. I don't see the point in even looking at the rising juniors, unless it is a QB.

Also, didn't make the updated Rivals 250 list.

My own personal ratings gave him a "baller" rating.

Wow, the boo birds are going to love this one. These kids crack me up. One minute call our staff the best in the biz and the next decommit.

The staff invested a ton of time in recruiting Braden.

This is why I stopped caring about recruiting. Wake me up around January.

Bout time. Jeebus how long was that going to drag out.

Dad finally opened that email from Uncle Phil.

Obviously Lucci's bags were light compared to the stuff coming over from Nike HQ.

Haha, he's officially shutting down his recruitment. I thought he had already done that. Wasn't the Oregon visit for his brother? Lol.

Apparently ASB told the staff that Lenzy had to go.

I mean this was obviously coming. Sad because I think he's a great prospect.

So after killing it through February, our last two 'activities' have been losing a 4-star CB with elite speed, and a 4-star WR with elite speed.

Stay hot ND!
