Good to finally get the chance to say this for ND's chances, rather than against, but actions speak louder than words. There may be "words" (keyword, may) that he's an OSU lean, but his actions indicate that we are the team to beat and have been for some time.

There wasn't a few there was 1 and it was to tOSU, however it was done by a guy named Isaiah Hole who is listed as writer/facebook and has made only 3 CB picks total. So IMO it means next to nothing. It's been almost a month since there was a Dallas Gant CB pick and that came from Wiltfong who had tOSU his pick went to foggy.

It may have just been 1 at the time, but it's pretty evident when multiple folks are starting to hear OSU right after your last visit to ND. Even Loy himself put in a CB to OSU today. Urban vs. Kelly isn't much of a decision right now unfortunately.

The other part of the answer is ND has the most widespread fanbase in the country who regularly attend games. At Ohio St, 95% of attendees live within 2 hrs of the stadium. Half of the ND attendees have a 2 hr drive after landing at O'Hare.

Yeah. Maybe you'd day-trip from somewhere within a couple-hour drive. Or perhaps go as part of some larger reunion or university event (the people I know who traveled to the B&G game yesterday were alums there for something else too). But almost nobody's flying to Chicago and renting a car and a hotel room just for a two-hour scrimmage, and that's half the crowd at a normal game.
Either way, I wouldn't sweat our Blue & Gold game attendance. We sell out every real game, unlike most programs - even many of our peers.

Spring game attendance has nothing to do with who Gant decides on. Don't know why you're bummed that OSU and Bama draw huge crowds as it relates to this particular recruit.

Guys over at ISD aren't buying it and neither am I.

He's Irish IMO. Ohio State is a tough pull, but ND has done the leg work and has the relationships. If he wants the whole college experience and if he's basing his choice on relationships, then ND is without a doubt the choice.

Not saying he's a lock, but I think we're in better shape to land him as of right now.
