I think this should be our best DL since pre-BK. Which is saying a lot.

It's partially why I'm so confident the floor on this team is higher than some are giving them credit for. But, also why I'll be extremely disappointed if it doesn't translate to wins on the field.

Agreed. They are how we can beat ohio state. Whip their OLs ass all game long and disrupt what they want to do. Lock down running lanes and force someone other than Smith-njigba to beat them.

The DL does feel very 2012ish. Great veterans, great potential breakouts, the LBs feel like they could be better, same with secondary.

Can we RTDB and maintain a time of possession advantage, with a few big plays sprinkled in?

I can’t agree more here. Both of the Ademilolas are very good college players that would play on any team in the country. Foskey might be the second best edge player in the country. I have very high hopes for Mills with his size and athleticism. Then you sprinkle in a solid role player like Lacey and you have probably the strength of the team, which is saying a lot with how our OL looks right now.

We’ve certainly come a long way from where the DL was just a few years ago, controlling both lines of scrimmage is a foundation for wing football.

Yeah Mills is the wildcard right now if everyone stays healthy and he evolves into a consistent force, I agree it will be the best dline we've had in a long time. Especially when you consider how good our linebackers are expected to be. Bohtelo and Liufau could be an elite pass rushing duo

The problem is OSU's oline isn't a weakness. I saw one place they were ranked the #2 OL in the country.

I’ll add a Howard Cross to the mix as well. He’s got such a quick get off plus heavy hands. He’s going to be a load behind Jayson A.

I’d be depressed AF if I showed up at a bowl game and Sean Clifford was my QB

Looking forward to Ford making an impact. Comes from good family, hope he does well.

I thought he would be drafted
He didn’t have a good 2022.
Got pushed around a lot, didn’t play with his consistent motor. We couldn’t stop the run in critical moments and he was in the middle for that. Not all on him, but the film wasn’t good and he’s undersized.
