I think the writing is on the wall with this one, although I wouldn't mind if he canceled that OSU visit.
My guess is that that he cancels. I really like this pick up if we get him.
Cal and NW make up his final 3<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="und" dir="ltr"><a href="https://t.co/OPyvBjjFC2">pic.twitter.com/OPyvBjjFC2</a></p>— DJ Brown (@DeeJayyy___) <a href="https://twitter.com/DeeJayyy___/status/958406673676275712?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 30, 2018</a></blockquote>

Would be a really nice addition. DB recruiting for the 18' cycle would have to get pretty high marks.
Decommitted from one top institution to focus on three others, nice

Can someone please tell me how excited I should be if we land Brown?
He was evidently at one point in time a 2* on Rivals and his top group includes Northwestern and Cal Berkeley.
He’s also an Under Armour All American and according to some sources had a committable offer to pOSU.
I want to get excited, but I can’t shake the feeling that he may just be a slightly better version of Ashton White.

IMO, he was arguably the most polished of the available CB's, at the time of offering. Which includes Gordon, Irvin, Boykin, etc. With that said, he also might be the least athletic of the group, which might limit his upside. I think he has a chance to be a starting CB on a competitive P5 defense. Just might not have the NFL upside. Which could end up being similar to Julian Love
Got offers late from ND, Clemson, and Ohio State. Lots of P5 offers. All-American. So that's all encouraging.
I have no clue though whether he's the kind of guy we should expect to be an impact player or depth or somewhere inbetween... I think he was literally the lowest recruit in the UA game? So strange.
LMAO. No he was not the lowest. First checkout the UA game roster and there are many non ST players lower rated than DJ. Second take a look at his updated rankings.
Rivals 3* 5.6 CB #67
247 3* 86 NATL. RK 699 CB RK 70
ESPN 4* 82 NATL. RK 225 CB RK 28
247 composite 3* 88 NATL. RK 487 CB RK 49
Clearly he is at worst a solid 3* who will contribute.
Good height and length. Smart instinctive player. Flashes good range and short-area burst. ...WEAKNESSES: Needs to continue to fill out frame. Average ball skills...BOTTOM LINE: Brown is a savvy corner that blends length, ability and smarts to make plays.
I agree with the comparison to Love. Accept DJ is bigger and balls skills not as good as Love.
Outside of Houston Griffith, DJ Brown would be the best corner in this 2018 class for Notre Dame.
So IMO everyone should be excited if he signs with Notre Dame.
How does a three star hold out until NSD like they are a five star stud? What are the odds he will ever start?

People literally get drunk on "trusting the process."
Another way of saying it is, being indecisive and having your decisions ultimately made by other people who chose first.
