Demetric Warren with a CB to Ohio St.
Wiltfong with a CB to Stanford.
Wiltfong is with him in Beaverton.
I know that Osiris went to Stanford, but I just don't know if I see Amon-Ra going there with how empty that stadium is outside of Southern Cal and ND games.
Can we lock this thread? It makes me depressed every time I see his name pop up for how things turned out. Feels like just a few years ago we were sitting back, legs crossed, hands behind our head cause the St. Brown brothers were going to just fall right into our lap.
Funny how things "work" out.
Oh, and IN before the "step off the ledge" comments.
That's not entirely true.
They have near capacity crowds for Cal, Washington and if Oregon is good too. Not a lot of red to be found on those days outside of Cal where they actually close the computer labs for the second half forcing the students to decide, do I go to the game or take my quarterly shower?
I would love for him to come here but Stanford just makes so much sense. Honestly why would he come here? Because he might catch passes with EQ for a year? Who knows if EQ even comes back. Osirs is a year behind him, but losing Osiris wasn't a huge deal even though I don't think he was ever coming here really. If EQ gets accepted into Stanford then all three would have been at Stanford.

I just don't see how ND wins this one. Polian gonna have to pull some Manti stuff
How about WR production? They threw for 2000 yds. (roughly) last season. They didn't even have a WR over 500 yds., leading WR was Trent Irwin at 442, on the season. His brother (EQ) doubled that as a sophomore. I remember when people were all over Chris Brown for not "producing". He had two seasons that eclipsed 500 (548/597). And that was deemed, not good enough, lol. Corey Robinson and Cj Prosise eclipsed 500 in a season. That's how bad that passing offense was.
That offense was complete garbage last year.
I get that part their offense is completely different then ours.
But they have Davis Mills who IMO is the chosen one
Different, or terrible.
Wimbush will probably be pretty good himself, lol

I wouldn't say it's terrible. They find ways to win games and I understand their offense won't bring any big time WR's to the Farm. In terms of recruiting rankings who has BK brought in as a top 50 prospect at WR or a 5*(elite one)? None, so I know our passing offense at WR's are the furthest thing from the problem but still I think with ASB and Stanford it's different. Seems like all three brothers wanted to go there and I think his dad has said he wanted all his kid's at Stanford and EQ would have gone to Stanford so who knows.
I know Wimbush will be pretty damn good himself, but you get four years of Davis Mills and Amon Ra I feel pretty confident saying he could be a 1,000 WR in that kind of offense because of Amon Ra and Mills. Stanford offense has opened up the playbook a lot over the last few years IMO. They still play smash mouth football but it's not as much as when Harbaugh was there.
I love Davis Mills I really feel like one day he will be a top 3 pick in the NFL Draft.
Davis Mills will see the field when KJ Costello allows it. Mills and Costello had similar statistical careers in HS except Mills played against 3A out of 7A GA teams while KJ did it in the #1 conference in the country and stepped out of conference vs. Bishop Gorman - had 330yd and 440yd games against them and a 25/33, 400+ yd 4 TD game against everyone's favorite QB, Flake Barnett. Best HS football performance I ever saw . Most satisfying ever too as they throttled the future Bama bailer.

I'm say ASB ends up at USC at this point in time.

And yet we are all ignoring the ASB wants his own path, make his own journey. Not follow his brother to Notre Dame. Not follow his brother to Stanford. But to go to USC and play Stanford and ND every year.

I have a feeling there will be twists and turns in this recruitment all the way to signing day.
I still say ND has a shot and will be 1 of his finalists. Who will USC have at QB next year if Darnold goes pro? Plus they lost their 5* QB for next years class.
Matt Fink is probably the back up until Jack Sears passes him up this year at some point. Sears was Darnold's WR/Back up QB at San Clemente HS, I've always been a big fan.
In '18 they will get one of the following westcoast guys:
Tyler Shough
Tanner McKee
Colson Yankoff
Jack Tuttle
Cameron Rising
Then in '19 it's all in on JT Daniels.
They'll be fine as usual.
