Kid is gonna be Michael Floyd style physical when he's a college freshman

You know who he reminds me of? Golden Tate when he was younger. He really does.

My school participated in a 7v7 tournament at Mater Dei last week and I got to see this young man in person along with JT Daniels and Jamire Calvin from Cathedral. St. Brown is looks like a grown ass man and he is going to be a terror at the next level. After the tournament, he came out of the locker room in a Notre Dame visor and a Stanford sweatshirt. I really hope we win out here.

This kid is really skrong. I mean massively and critically so.

His strength which shows up with his hands is just like Golden, no doubt.

This hid has similar proportions to Golden, only he is like four inches taller!

Or there about.

247 currently has it as an ND/USC battle. whereas Stanford and some others are listed as "cool" on the interest scale.

I wonder if they are behind on the info, or if there's stuff out there that we haven't heard yet?

How big is ASB now? Height is listed anywhere to 5-10 to 6-1. He's not 6-1, I'm not sure OSB is 6-1. ASB looks maybe 5-11 to me. Both brothers skipped the combine portion of the Opening this year so there's no current data.

When your older brother is 6-4, you keep waiting for those growth spurts.

How would you compare Calvin to other slot sized guys like ASB, Damian Alloway or your own Melquise Stovall?

Speaking of Stovall, what's the word on Melquan?

Lastly for the board...

Visor > Sweatshirt or Visor < Sweatshirt? I've misplaced my swag manual and flying blind on this one.

Well, when the visor has an ND logo on it and the sweatshirt has a Stanford logo...it's clearly visor > sweatshirt.

Well I'll say that an alarming number of Mater Dei's squad had on USC gloves so there may be some influence on that end. ASB didn't have them on thank God. I wanted to ask him about how he's enjoying the process but decided against it.

I'm 6ft and I'd say he's about my height, probably 5-11 to 6-0. Calvin was a jet out there and extremely smooth in and out of his breaks. I'd say he's a more natural receiver than Stovall was. I didn't coach stovall but I'd say based on film, Culver is faster than Stovall. ASB's route running is awesome and his strength at this stage is impressive. Golden Tate played much stronger than he looked. If ASB can do the same, he's going to be special!

He should be a pretty good player when it's all said and done. Kinda hard to project him right now, as he's c/o '19. Does show promise to be a legit recruit from what i have been told.
