Agreed! Thanks for sharing.

IMO, he was underutilized and would’ve been a starter at most P5 programs. Not saying he’s better than Kmet, Mayer or Tremble but that he could’ve been utilized more.

Didn't realize this initially but it looks like he's now starting at tight end for the Lions after the Hockenson trade. For a guy that was no better than third on the depth chart his whole career at ND, he has made it very far. Great to see.

Lions typically play two TEs and Wright has been starting for quite a while. Campbell has been praising his importance in the running game for months.

I'll add FWIW: When the Lions were "auditioning" their TE room to see who would make the team vs practice squad etc, Brock's status on the team was never in doubt. Campbell said: "We know what we're getting with Wright." At that pre-season moment, Hokenson and Brock were the only two for sure TEs on the keeper roster, and everyone else was fighting for a position.

Yeah no kidding. He always looked so slow. Maybe he never got an open field to run into. He’d just catch the ball and run into someone, slowly
