Something I noticed within that apology tweet was Damar Hamlin's father responding telling him not to apologize for "speaking facts." That, they felt the same way.

Why would someone be surprised/put off by having to "make an apointment" to see
anybody in a professional position? It's what you do.

Anyhow, seeing as how Harbaugh has a "open door" policy I suppose anyone on this board living near Ann Arbor should now feel free to stop by sans apoinment to discuss why Michigan is so f*cked.

College is perfect for Harbaugh. Players only have to deal with him for up to 5 years.

By the time he starts to wear on them, they're almost out the door anyway, so they can suck it up.

The continuous "refresh," even in terms of the coaching staff, means a guy like Harbaugh can stay in college forever.

It's not about the open door/make an appointment. That only gets noticed because he didn't like BK. If BK was as 'cool' as Harbaugh, they'd never even think of the open door/make an appointment as a thing.

When you don't like someone, you find things about them that were different (not bad) and make it sound like it was bad.

Funny think to is I saw Hamlin's dad respond to him that they noticed the same thing last year, that's funny because Hamlin wanted to commit to us but we told him we were full.

It's easy to be a follower than a leader.

It clearly wasn't that big of a deal or they would have stated that last year.

It's not like he openly stated it this year. He didn't call anyone out. He posted under an apology tweet that they felt the same.

There's a joke in here somewhere about people having a problem with you.

Anyone bring up the fact that ND doesn't have a D Coordinator and as an early enrollee may not have one by the time he starts classes? I think even as a DT you would want to know what style of defense you will be running. I am sure schools are using that against ND right now.

Dumpster fires have a tendency to do this. A coach that has an ego as the size of bk, I understand this. He also has thrown coaches and players under the bus before himself. I do feel bk has become an issue.

Partially why I put very little stock in what these two are saying, Jeter and Mario. The Hamlin's wanted the staff to hold a spot for as long as they wanted, while they took visits. The staff chose not to do so, and instead took a commitment from Pride. Pride was a huge get, and one the staff thought was a better prospect. Not sure why we'd care what Mario Hamlin has to say anymore.

You know he committed to Michigan right. Urban and ole Jimmy have huge ego's as well.

No need to argue the bold again.

FWIW the chances of a Beaver Falls kid making it at ND are slim to none. Regardless of anything, I never thought he'd make it to his sophomore season at ND. Better to lose him now.

I would be surprised if Jeter stays committed to Michigan. Michigan better hope he doesn't visit Pitt.

Stereotype much? His brother got into and stayed eligible at Vandy.

Sounds like the reason he might have decommitted and Loy hinted at is that he wasn't going to able to EE

Does ND have certain EE procedures that Michigan doesn't follow? Seems like a really dumb reason to flip.

Didn't get language requirement done (dropped class? / never enrolled in fall?), would've had to stay spring semester to finish for ND admission. Has birth certificate and pulse which checks both boxes for EE in Ann Arbor.

Snarky version of putting 2 & 2 together from snippets going around.

Hey now. Michigan is a well respected higher education institution. They treat their student athletes no different than the general student population. Same as Notre Dame treats their student athletes like the average non scholarship student. Don't believe me ask Jim Harbaugh, Michigans AD, any current or former Michigan football player and any Walmart working Michigan fan.

I Hope this kid starts a game against us and one of our gnarly beast Mid-West OL buries him into the ground. Pretty immature.

Typical immature, insecure high school kid. Poking fun at a place that he was fully committed to at one time. Something doesn't go his way, and stuff like this happens when the opportunity presents itself. I think we've seen this in the past w/ other recruits, and even former players whose career's didn't pan out.
