............NRSo what's the weakness in this kid's game? Sounds like he's a legit producer, but it also seems like he's lower on the board despite that production, pedigree and level of competition.
Something's up. I loved the idea of having him on the team but this new highlight film doesn't blow me away. He looks smaller than I'd have thought and he looks stiff. He's a 4.4 guy but he doesn't look to have the wiggle of a Stovall, Alloway, JJ Taylor (McKinley's teammate) or the wiggle and power of the CJ Verdell kid I posted for fun in the 2017 Master List thread.
I get an odd feeling about him. Really wanted him and AJ Dillon on story alone. AJ Dillon is a take regardless. Maybe I'm just not seeing it in that 4 game highlight. ???
He could be the best return man in ND history if he came here.
That vision and speed and the ability to just bounce off tackles, the way he can twist his body, is insane. Kid has one gear.
Better than Rocket?

Why does a team that can't get to 85 scholarship players slow play a high character producer at a "pipeline" school? He probably would not threaten any other running back or slot that we might recruit. He looks like a dynamic special teams player that could also possibly create mismatches in certain packages with his tweener skill set.
First off it isn't a pipeline nor are we slow playing a kid who won't sign for 13 months.

Lol. Not this again. The last guy to say this got trashed.
BG is about as close to a "pipeline" as ND has these days. VERY good relationships at that school.
Yes, it's a place ND is very comfortable at but other schools and still pick and choose who they want.
From BG? Or you mean with real pipelines?
BG
The only true national prospects we have take are Ronnie Stanley and Aliz'e Jones. Am I missing someone? How we can call it a pipeline is beyond me

We shoulda/coulda/woulda had 4 guys from Gorman on the roster this year. Jones, Stanley, Starks, and Fertitta. That's pretty impressive.
You guys can debate whether it is a pipeline again, but can we at least agree that it is a "pipeline"?
