Don't get me wrong, she could eat Ritz on my Stearns and Foster, but just not really my type. I prefer a more slim or athletic build. The ego stuff really kills it for me though lol.

A few things happening here. They are still heavily pursuing Jalen Hurts and went all out on his official visit taking him to Prime 112 Restaurant and LIV nightclub. For Tate Martell he’s probably been guaranteed to start in 2020 & 2021 and for 2019 he either loses the year of eligibility or is a backup that could earn snaps behind Jalen Hurts.

2017: Redshirt
2018: 6GP @ Ohio State
2019: Backup/Sit Out
2020: Starting QB
2021: Starting QB

Basically it doesn’t hurt him to try and get a waiver for this season because he either plays as a backup or potential starter if Jalen Hurts doesn’t come or he sits out and loses that year of eligibility. I don’t think he gets the waiver but it would be in his best interest to try.

I try not to root against these kids, but my first thought seeing Martell about to get buried on the depth chart was "hell yeah"

Why do guys like that go from one one top tier program to another and risk losing a battle?

He should have gone to San Diego St or UNLV.

Out of the 121 QB's who can make a roster this season, 41 went to non-P5 schools.

Or he can switch to Fl Int'l. Right down the street from UM. Probably doesn't even have to change apartments.

That's why I'm surprised more top QB's don't choose to create their own path. Depending on what's important to you, either pick the school or pick a program where you know you're going to start.
