Well a little ray of sunshine in a rather crappy climate.

official to the echoes-247

The banquet is probably my favorite weekend for recruits to take their OV. It really shows them and their parents what Notre Dame has to offer off the football field and what the University represents.

Of course I say this after we finish 4-8 lol

Per Allen Trieu, his next two visits are ND and Arizona

Well at least there won't be any negative recruiting on that visit. The only thing keeping Rich Rod and his 3-9 record in Tucson is his buyout.

Another guy from 11W CB'd him to ND this morning.

So his final 3 are ND, MSU, and UofA. His morbid attraction to the downtrodden is quite endearing. Could be looking at the new patron saint of IE.

Was this the guy who straight balled out at The Opening?

I'm not sure if he was even invited to The Opening.

I think the kid you're thinking of is CB Ambry Thomas. He's basically down to M and MSU, flip a coin. It's that close.

Simmons was the only OSU verbal who “Got Open” and earned his invitation to the prestigious national The Opening camp in Oregon in July.

saw Ambry play in the State Finals in Michigan, he pretty much locked down Cody White (MSU Commit). Walled Lake Western's QB had a nightmare and gave up a bunch of picks. Thomas is a great prospect but he's no Donnie Corley

well they are completely different players.

Corley is a legit 6'2ish, plays WR at MSU and just had a great rookie season, was really the only play-maker/threat for them on offense at WR.

Thomas is a legit 5'11, will be playing CB in college. Great athlete, great ball skills. Very similar to Jourdan Lewis as a HS prospect. Actually he's probably better. He's bigger and stronger coming out of HS.

this can't be accurate.

Pretty sure their midget QB Tater Tot from Vegas was there and stunk up the joint. Also wasn't their WR commit from Florida Trevon Grimes there and got kicked out for being a punk? Their RB commit from TX won that Sparq challenge as well. Think they had quite a few commits there.

Corley played some DB also for MSU, he looked pretty good there too. Thomas is 160 lbs, if he ends up at UM or PSU he'll probably redshirt right?

I'll be a little shocked if he goes to Penn State. It's been a MSU/Michigan battle forever.

He's probably 160-170, probably a redshirt, yes. Jourdan Lewis was like 155 when he got to Michigan and he played as a true frosh. So you never know. I think MSU has the bigger need at CB, so if he goes there he'll probably play early. Michigan has two top 100 kids from 2016 coming up in David Long and LaVert Hill, they should get Jeremy Clark back for a 6th year and they've also got a top 250 4* CB in the 2017 class coming in Benjamin St. Juste who is about 6'3, 195 ish.

I think if he picks Michigan he probably red-shirts, if he picks MSU he probably plays.
