Is on campus OVing while "committed" to A&M and when i go to see what he posts about ND on his Twitter page, he has numerous A&M gameday posts and nothing about being at ND. He snuck into SB under the cover of darkness and it all seems wrong - regardless if this is the new normal of what it means to be "committed".

Pass. This wreaks of character issues. And for what it's worth, I really liked this kid.

What he says is unless there is a coaching change, he's going to be an Aggie.

“I just wanted to go out there and experience South Bend and enjoy this process because you only do this once,” Carper said. “I wanted to get out there and experience what they have to offer me because they’ve been recruiting me as long as A&M has so I just wanted a chance to get out there and get a feel for Notre Dame. That was my intentions going out there.”

He added, “The campus is beautiful and there’s plenty of tradition out there which is refreshing. They had some great presentations. Everyone was very professional. You got the best of the best out there. I think a blind man could notice that about Notre Dame. It’s a great school.”

With all that said, Carper was adamant to make his commitment status clear and actually reached out to GigEm247 to set the record straight.

“I’m 110% committed to Texas A&M,” he said. “I’m just as committed as I was when I first committed. I had no intentions of flipping going into this weekend. If I had the intentions of flipping it would have been when I sat down with my parents and talked with them but they didn’t travel with me on my official visit. That was not my intentions whatsoever. Once again, I’m 110-percent committed to Texas A&M. That is home. That is home for me.”

He added, “You never know what could happen with coaching changes so you have to take that into consideration when you’re making a business decision, which this is a business decision, and nothing less than that. I know A&M fans were a little nervous, and I heard about that, but I need you to get this story out as fast as possible and calm everyone down.

I'm putting my Crystal Ball pick on Notre Dame for Keldrick Carper.
So, here's my thought on this...
I'm told Carper, his family, his high school staff were keeping this extremely quiet. I'm told the Aggies staff was unaware that he was visiting. Notre Dame was also keeping this very tight lipped.
Why would all that occur if he was just a rock solid commit to Texas A&M?
I'm not 100-percent confident he will flip this weekend, but it's not out of the question. We'll see what happens. My gut: Carper, a safety, ends up in this class. However, at this point, I'm putting my Crystal Ball on this because I think it will eventually happen. In doing this awhile, I just think he's trying to be too secretive for there not to be more smoke at this point.
