3 (Aug 29) to 6 weeks (Sep 19) per II. So basically could be back by Week 1 or if everything goes slowly then he could be back for UGA. Either way, doesn’t look like UGA is in jeopardy if all goes well in his recovery.

Not true. OSU looked like garbage the entire year. They went to OT versus Maryland and Nebraska. There only good victories were versus Michigan and Northwestern.

Clemson and Michigan had two of the best defensive lines in terms of getting pressure.

Georgia was one of the worst teams in the SEC in terms of applying pressure and getting sacks last year.

Pitt was a textbook trap game, and ND was still adjusting to the loss of Bars.

The middle 2 aren't debatable, at least not upon initial outlook. Georgia has a lot of question marks at corner and, much like us, LB. They are very inexperienced at receiver and we have a very experienced and talented secondary.

Georgia has a good tandem of tackles, however ND has one of the best, if not the best tandem of ends. Even when we had guys like McGlinchey and Stanley, they struggled with the likes of Lorenzo Carter, Davin Bellamy, Kevin Dodd, Shaq Lawson, Joey Bosa and Sam Hubbard.

I don't know if you know this, but most Georgia fans I know are legitimately worried about their DL. Rumors coming out of camp that they aren't up to the standard.

Their OL is bonkers good, but their DL isn't on the same level as two years ago.

- @ Penn State (9-4) W 27-26
- vs. Michigan (10-3) W 62-39
- vs. Northwestern (9-5) W 45-24

Oklahoma's best wins:
- vs. Army (11-2) W 28-21
- @ West Virginia (8-4) W 59-56
- vs. Texas (10-4) W 39-27

But then you look at their loss:

Oklahoma:
- vs. Texas L 45-48

Ohio State:
- @ Purdue L 20-49

One team lost on a last second field goal against a team they proceeded to beat in the conference championship. The other got completely emasculated by a team who finished with a losing record.

Yes, point being the ND O line didn't dominate last year against anyone worth a shit. That could very well change in 2019, but the last time they manhandled anyone up front who was solid was NC State 2017.

Very valid!!! And don't get me wrong, I could give two shits who got the last spot as long as ND was in.

Debatable however, this is where the human eliminate comes in. I remember watching that PU/OSU game thinking "good luck to anyone playing against this team tonight". It can't be explained on paper, but (as noted) if you watched that game there was something magical going on.

Regardless, my original point, GA being considered - not part of the conversation.

Depends how bad the break is and how quickly you heal. I prefer to never go with the shorter end when dealing with athletics. There will be a difference between ready to stress it again and ready for all out football again. Will still need to get back into the swing of things. Trusting that it’s healed and that you can go all out again. Sooner the better, but no need to injure yourself again and miss the rest if the season all over 1-2 extra weeks of missed time.

I was there when they trotted Crist back out there when we had a proven winner in Tommy on the bench. I was there when Tommy almost brought the team back. I was there when Floyd had a chance to get the onside kick and the ball was snatched from him. I was there...

Pretty clear to me that you shouldn't have been there in the first place.
