Just wondering how having this option open sits with the committed LBers now? I think I read one say he was offered with the statement that they were only taking one more LB in this class and wanted him to be it.

Werner had made a comment that adams and white had nothing to do w/ him committing quickly...he said he understood that they all play different linebacker positions than him...ND has been upfront that they got who they liked and will swing for the fence with the big fish

Werner is viewed as a Will so when he made the comment it could have been in reference to WILL linebacker

White is viewed as Will but more likely Sam as he is already getting up there in weight

Adams is viewed as a Mike 1st

This is perfect scenario with a great foundation but Wilder is being talked about as a safety/linebacker he is 6'1 /6'2 and just shy of 200lbs ....he can get after the qb, extremely quick

i agree, but mike, will, sam, tony, joe, if one of our LB's thinks were done recruiting LB's, and we arent - prolly not gonna end well.

Yeah, I agree. Werner was the last pure LB spot but the staff will take another hybrid S/LB or DE/LB type guy according to tj as well.

Yes they have, and it's something that will always set us apart from others (hopefully). We obviously don't know what guys like Werner were actually told. I just don't want to see this LB group fall apart.

Nope. 100m. I played baseball in high school. I was going to run with track relay teams my senior year once tourney time began and practiced with the track team before I realized the sectionals and regionals would conflict with baseball season. I was running 10.8 and 10.7 pretty consistently. Enough about me but we should probably transfer this info to my recruiting profile.
