Or is it the beginning of the end for Bama? Ohio State is going to win the APR crown for the 2017 class. Bama won it from 2011-2016. Georgia currently has a better APR than Bama also and Clemson has an outside chance of passing them if they can win the NC game.

Maybe the King's dead or at least dying?

1. It's run by a corporation whose interest is to make money off of athletes. They view each player they recruit as a future source of profit.

so, they are basically the same--just using different means to the same ends. one using a kids athletic talents and the other the kids brains and connections---all in pursuit of future monetary returns via donations.

Not just any corporation, they are one of the world's largest sports management firms. They represent Cam Newton, for instance. They recruit high school kids, pay their tuition and groom them into future clients. It's a racket.

He's also in Alabama's student directory, and not Michigan's. Now, he could have requested not to be in Michigan's directory, but I highly doubt it.

he's not in either directory. don't ask me how I know this lol. People on the Michigan 247 boards have been stalking this typing in his name in both directories every single day.

You're probably thinking of the Alabama e-mail address of his that has popped up. Everyone that applies and gets accepted into Alabama automatically has an e-mail address created for them from Alabama. Barron Browning has one for example.

that kid has sure been talking a lot about Najee. He said he believes they are on the same flight. Didn't sound really all that definitive. I don't think Harris is telling anybody where he's going except for his family. Doubt he's clued Tua in on anything. That's just my two cents though.

Alabama Scout guy is now saying he's not sure where Harris is going and thinks Harris might delay his decision. Crazy. Considering he was pretty much guaranteeing Najee to Alabama not even a week ago.

I really don't think so. Their '17 class is still loaded and they just have SO much elite talent stockpiled plus the best coaching.

Alabama will be just fine as long as Saban is running the show.

But I do think all of the coaching losses could hurt them a little bit.

Kiffen was a douche but he's a damn good OC. Not sure I trust Sark considering he's a raging alcoholic, pill popping animal.

OL coach Mario Cristobal and LB coach Tosh Lupoi are both rumored to be leaving for Co-Ordinator jobs. If those both happen, that'll hurt as well. That's their 2 best recruiters. By far.

Sark is an unknown to me. High risk, high reward. But he's not a slam dunk hire.

Interesting, I was just going by what the other boards are saying.

I don't think any of these "insiders" have a clue. Harris just doesn't talk. I think the only people who really know are himself, his mother, brothers, and family. Aside from that, I don't think these "experts" know a thing.

The Alabama Scout guy is now saying he thinks Najee might delay his enrollment. This guy a week ago was saying Najee to Bama was like a lock.

I don't think anybody really knows.

Agree. Most insiders just looking for clicks. When Hank reports it, then I will believe it.

Honestly don't know what to make of this kids recruitment. Might be one of the craziest I've ever seen. Flying back to Oakland now? I know his brother retweets a bunch of Michigan stuff and appears to be a Michigan fan. He said he wants him at Michigan on Twitter and Alabama fans blew up his spot lol. Would expect nothing less. Only the crazies are on Twitter tweeting at recruits and their families. Every fan base has those idiots.

As for winning with him there- I can't say I disagree with that. Honestly. Michigan lost 3 games by a combined 5 points. That's a razor thin margin. And a big reason why they lose those games is because the running game was non-existent. De'Veon Smith got a lions share of the carries. Najee Haris as a high school senior would've been a superior RB to De'Veon Smith as a college senior. Smith just is not good. He will never play a down in the NFL. Harris is 3 years and he's a 1st or 2nd round pick at worst. Provided he stays healthy. He is an elite talent. Michigan hasn't had an elite NFL talent at RB since Chris Perry. That was all the way back in 2003.

I think Chris Evans is a future star but he's more of a complimentary, change of pace back that you can use in the passing game and all over. They lack that 225 pound sledge hammer that can pick up the tough yards but also has the speed and burst to break big gains. Ty Isaac hasn't been able to get on the field at all, Karran Higdon is like 180 pounds soaking wet and goes down if he gets sneezed on, Kareem Walker was academically ineligible for most of his Frosh season, and like I said, Smith is just not good. He's extremely slow, he has no vision, and he can't read or set up his blocks. He is a complete liability 90% of the time when he's running the football.

What if he just decided to stay closer to home and enroll at USC? They apparently have some silent commits that no one knows about. Would be an epic troll job by Harris and UM, but I highly doubt that's the case.

Cal is his nearest school so if he stays home it will be to waste his college career there pass blocking

Even if they win those games, it wouldn't matter.....UM and the Big 10 was overrated this year. OSU was exposed, Iowa was embarrassed again and UM couldn't beat FSU even though FSU did all they could to lose. Remember, FSU gave UM a gift on the horrendous fumbled punt inside the 5, but Michigan got their shit pushed in and had to settle for a FG.....+3 points. Then, Francois gives them 6 on one of the worst plays I have seen all bowl season.....+9 points in total. Finally, the blocked PAT would have hit the lineman in the back of the head.....terrible kick. I will give credit for the return, so I will just call this a -1 to FSU for the crappy PAT....+10 points for Michigan......with all those seniors and the best coach ever......and they still lose. Classic Harbaugh......Bo Schembechler part 2.

Harris asked to have his flight back to Oakland changed to Birmingham. This would line up with what Tua said a couple of days ago about Harris joining him on his flight to Bama. Also, a few players from Harris' West team have commented that he is fully committed to Bama. Check back in ten minutes when the next "update" comes out.
