Scout actually considers him the top Midwest prospect so...

And Kraemer is just 3 spots lower than him at #28 overall. They rank Bredeson as the top OG prospect in the Midwest and Tommy as the top OT prospect in the Midwest.

Oh, and guess who is the #2 OT in the Midwest? That's right, it's Liam! (#63 Overall) So chill guys.

Good get for them, rack em well played. If this was D line it would hurt but we are more then set at OL. Doesn't mean Ben is a great player because he is. Now we might recruit that O linemen from Green Bay!

Lot of surprise around WI that a Arrowhead kid went to Michigan. That's the Harbaugh effect though.

It's all about playing time. At UM he may play his freshman year. At ND he will be waiting behind some pretty good offensive lineman, and probably wouldn't play until his fourth or fifth year.

I can hear Harbaugh's sales pitch, "Notre Dame is a good school, but do you really want to compete with Nelson, Bars, Hoge, Kraemer, Eichenberg, and the rest of those offensive line recruits they've been stacking up. Come here and you will see the field a lot sooner. Maybe even be a four-year starter. And by the way, do you remember how much I liked to run the ball when I was at Stanford?"

Great get for scUM. But man, it sure is nice being able to miss on the #1 OT in Midwest and just shoulder shrug.

Harbaugh has a lot of street credit with these kids for what he did at Stanford and the 49ers. He will get his share going forward.

Damn this blows. My dream o line haul has complete crapped out. Thanks a lot Bredeson and Jordon.

I know we are loaded currently and this recruiting class in the o line, but this one really bothers me for some reason.

I don't really blame the kid. There seems to be this type of discussion every year, "Why would that safety want to go sit at USC," or "why would that RB want to sit at Alabama?" It was bound to happen at ND, and is there anyone that is actually surprised that someone would look at ND depth chart/recruitment and choose to go to a different school? Good luck to him.

Bummer dude.

Best of luck to him.

Good for harbaugh.

I have stated this before, and I will again; I wish nothing more for Urban and the Buckeyes that Michigan or Michigan State beat them every year.

So as much as I would have preferred to get Ben, they gotta have talent to get the job done.

Why?

Was either of the Martin brothers rated that high? How about Stanley? No?

Well lets sit back and watch the developmental genius of Harry take over. Methinks we have gotten to spoiled recently with the recruiting genius of King Harry!
