Per @TomLoy247, #NotreDame’s @SanfordBSU, @autrydenson have made quite the impression on 4-star RB Elijah Holyfield
PLUS EVANDER IS COMING W/ HIM
Removed Tylin Oden from list, he told BGI he's no longer visitng as he'll be attending a QB camp instead. Personally it sounds like he's getting some bad advice or at least not advantageous to ND. Basically his offer list is blowing up and we want him to throw for us before we offer and he already has a lot of schools that want him at QB.

He is going to the Rivals Quarterback Camp in Atlanta on March 21. He isnt getting bad advice. or negative recruiting towards Notre Dame. Oden needs exposure at this stage and getting to Atlanta is a good thing. It allows him to compete against some of the best talent in the South and a good measuring stick for him going forward.
Yes, the same camp he told Irish247 he was skipping to come to ND for its Junior Day. "I got it worked out with my mother, I'll be at Notre Dame for Junior Day."
Then just a few hours later he told this to BGI (rivals) "I can't make it now because of the camp that Sunday, I wanted it to, but it's not going to work out." "Notre Dame wants to watch me throw before offering or anything," Oden said. "But right now my recruitment is just expanding with a lot of new colleges hitting me up. It's kind of fast, but all of them want me to play quarterback."
So the decision was made that its more important to make a rivals camp than visit ND in hopes for an offer. I highly doubt that after he was able to get his mother to drive him up to ND, he just changed his mind without any outside influence. He's been trying to get this visit planned for awhile now.
The reality is this is about exposure and increasing his rankings in hopes of garnering more attention. Thats great and all, won't fault the kid for it but I don't see how its the best thing for him. In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter at all where he finishes in the rivals rankings or who else plays QB in the 2016 class. Whats most important is Tylin improving as a player and finding the right fit for him and his skill set and I fail to see how a rivals camp does any of that. He can workout at a rivals camp or throw for the coaches. At the Rivals camp he'll have limited reps or a personal workout (with the coaches) he'll have unlimited amount of reps and attention. Also, if I'm a QB would I rather be getting advice from the rivals staff or Mike Sanford? Unless you have a personal conversation with the family or Tylin himself you'd like to share I think its pretty evident that something changed in a short period of time.
Are we not calling it Irish Invasion this year? Or is that another day?
Apparently Tyler Odin will be at Notre Dame for junior day according to Loy
Tylin Oden is once again telling Loy that he will make Junior Day. Before he told Loy he would make it but then told BGI that he couldn't so we'll see. I'll put him back up on the board for now.

Kenney Lyke hadn’t quite expected the recent run on scholarship offers.
Over the last month Lyke, a three-star safety from Fremd High School in Palatine, Ill., has hit the road with Core 6 Athletes for a couple major 7-on-7 tournaments. His performances along the way have brought on more interest from college programs.
Army, Bowling Green, Iowa, Iowa State, Miami (Ohio), Michigan State, Northern Illinois, Pittsburgh, Toledo and Western Michigan have now offered.
“Well the Core 6 thing definitely helps,” Lyke said, “seeing if I can cover or not even though most of the schools are saying they’re gonna put me down in the box. But just seeing that I can go out there and compete with the best helps.”
Lyke is also fielding interest from Notre Dame, Penn State and Ohio State.
Irish associate head coach Mike Denbrock, who recruits Illinois, has made more contact in recent weeks. Lyke plans to follow up with a March 21 junior day visit.
“Coach Mike Denbrock was telling me that the coaching staff likes my film and they want to get to meet me as a person and all that,” Lyke said. “We’re gonna go from there. They invited me down for the junior day.”
Lyke plans to visit Ohio State on March 10, Illinois on March 13 and Penn State later in the month. He’s previously seen Michigan State (three times), Iowa, Northern Illinois, Miami (Ohio) and Purdue.
Notre Dame is a somewhat familiar program despite not having received a visit.
“I’ve gotta learn more about it,” Lyke said. “But I know it’s big time football. They’re televised every week. They’re everywhere. You can search up Notre Dame football and those are the main things.”
Since it will be a first trip to most places in the coming month, Lyke has an idea of the things for which he’ll be looking when it comes to the initial impression.
“You look for just how it feels to you,” he said. “That’s probably the most and what you think you can get out of it. What you can get out of just being there football-wise and everything. The workouts, weight room, all that goes into play as well. Coaches, how the coaches are. A lot of coaches say what you see is what you get. You want to make sure you fit.”
Michigan State is the most familiar program at this point in the process.
“I’ve been up there three times,” Lyke said. “It’s just nice up there, great atmosphere. They get rowdy during the games. I expect Notre Dame does as well. I haven’t had a chance to get up there for a game but you see it on TV. It’s rowdy.”
Tommy Kraemer will be on campus w many of his future teammates for Junior Day. Love it.
