ND was Andrew Trumbetti's dream school, but he still took his time before committing.

But then have you Grant Blankenship, who committed fairly soon after getting his dream offer from ND.

Point is, it depends on the kid.

Your post is pretty funny, however most of these kids go on other visits and hear all the lies of being the next Percy Harvin and forget about everything. Its like having your dream girl finally giving you a chance but then you realize that you are attractive to her friends as well.

It's the nature of the recruiting beast today. A lot of these kids really aren't giving ND much thought for whatever reason, but still want an ND offer so they can brag about it. If we landed every kid that said he coveted an offer from ND, we'd be stacked three deep with 5 star kids and be the recruiting envy of every other school.

Just following up on my report from Friday… Do not believe Hamlin will end up at Penn State. I can see him landing at Ohio State, Notre Dame or Pitt, and from what I hear he likes the Buckeyes right now. Probably will change once or twice before he makes a decision, but I don't like the Nittany Lions' chances.

Bad news is I don't like where we stand right now. Good news is he's not deciding soon. We have to hope that the visit with Paris Ford and Darrin Walls happens this summer.

I believe that is his little brother, who was born just before ND's junior day in March.
