I have no idea what DH's injury really is but a classic stinger is something that's very brief. If you have a stinger that forces you to miss enough practice that the staff doesn't dress you, it's more than the usual. I had a stinger that lasted 3 weeks where I eventually had to wear a neck brace for relief and isolation. The Brachial Plexus nerve can be a b!tch when aggravated.

Isnt' a "stinger" sometimes code for a separated or subluxed (not fully dislocated) shoulder? Probably best to go cautious with that, especially with the bye coming up.

He's got really 3 weeks if needed to get healthy. Just want him back before we go to NW.
Pitt, bye, and Navy should be an excellent 3 week opportunity to get our wounded back to 100.

Subluxation could definitely aggravate the brachial plexus as the humerous moved forward.

And he had shoulder injuries all through high school. And from the looks of his body type (narrow frame, shoulders kind of rolled forward) I'd suspect he's prone to that kind of stuff. Best be careful.

Since when is Navy a chance to get healthy? lol. Quite the opposite IMO...

Exactly... Northwestern might be our biggest stumbling block simply because it’s after Navy

IMO, this is the worst Navy team we've met since 2011. The haven't played anyone and are 2 and 3 so far. And they haven't played anyone with a good D. I've watched decent portions of two of their games, and they don't seem to be near as physical.

Total O is 105th (passing 130th / rushing 2nd), and Total D is 52nd (passing 49th, rushing 87th). We should plain throttle them on O, and I'm more comfortable with our D against them then ever.. Sure, the up front cut block BS will happen, but they have taken a couple steps back this year.

I know, I know... they always play us tough...
they didn't in 2011. We are different, they are different.

All that said, we should play our 2nd and 3rd string lines the entire game lol.

It's not able their skill level. It's about the style of play - cut blocks galore. Always an injury waiting to happen. I hate playing them. Let's consider the debt paid and move on already.

I don't feel like finding it, but back in blue gold game right before halftime I believe Hayes tried to tackle Mack and something really didn't look right. Hayes was really favoring one of his shoulders. I don't recall which shoulder but it had me concerned since blue gold game.

So Daelin Hayes looks to have a shoulder issue. We don’t yet know the severity. If it’s a major issue that requires surgery or a long layoff could he just RS and let Jarron Jones assume his reps? I don’t think Hayes has ever redshirted so he should be eligible since he’s only played in 3 games. The word on Jones is they planned to let him play the four game minimum but still RS him so he could come back next year. Let them swap situations if eligible.

Doesn't every human being that works hard have a shoulder issue? IDK, just one of my thoughts.
Maybe It's just those that work the hardest and the rotator cuff goes bad. I feel his pain, that's been around for him and me since High School

Mine came from stabbing bullys in the feet.

I think that would be a great idea. I believe he has a shot to get drafted if he plays like he has so far but if he'll be out for weeks, there is a good chance he won't have enough film to get a decent draft grade. Red shirt and come back next year as a definite starter.

I think you mean Jamir Jones...he is Jarron’s younger brother

I would HATE to lose Hayes for the year, but with Jones ready to take his place we may very well not skip a beat. Especially if Hayes agrees to tee-shirt and return next season.
