At this point I'm all about the real CB's. Long was always #1 out of this group. Hamlin's next. Hamlin also doesn't hurt the David Adams sweepstakes next year. Early on if Fuller would have jumped aboard, I'd have been stoked. DT-QB on top of his DB projection is nice to have. He's a football player. Might end up a great WR someday, wouldn't surprise me. My problem now is... ND has a ton of tweeners. That leaves Pride... I'm not afraid to take him, I just never got excited. If he wasn't linked to VaTech, I probably wouldn't had ever given it a second thought but a so so CB recruit at VT is in the same breath as a so so TE at ND. If the sky falls and he's the only guy they sign, I'll be thrilled he's Irish.

I know it looks like that, and it's not that I'm all that down on him but we need a guy that will be able to compete at CB right away and I don't think Fuller will be able to. Saw quite a bit of footage of him playing CB at the Opening and it wasn't good. Great athlete and would love to have him but it's a WANT list and that's how it goes.

Well if him insisting on playing corner is as important to him as it seems, I don't think we'll have to worry about it. My guess is OSU or RU at this point, and I'm OK with that so long as we grab one of Long/Hamlin/Pride in his place.

Kinda sorta. He hasn't been cleared by admissions yet, unless I missed an announcement. He never stopped the process and I've never heard that he would have even if he had been given the green light by admissions at his commitment.

Hopefully we tell him that we'll start him at CB and we do that. His brother would probably be at WR right now if we told him that he could play QB. When these guys get on campus and they get eaten up by better competition, they aren't going to want to stay at a position they aren't succeeding at. Will that be the case with Jordan, we'll have to see but I'd definitely tell him that we'll start him at CB and I'd actually start him at CB.

I feel like if we could land one more commit this cycle, he would be the one I would pick. I think all of the remaining targets are awesome, and we would be lucky to get any of them, but I think this kid is going to be a star! We need to get this secondary fixed, and with this kid, Studstill, and Elliot back there, I would feel really good about the future.

I'd make McCulloch number one because we've seen how important our LBs are in this system but close behind him would be Long, Hamlin and Pride. I just want to make sure we take 3+ LBs and 4 secondary players every cycle from here on out. It's probably a pipe dream but competition and healthy depth are so vital to making a run.
