Didn't visit UCLA today as previously stated. Per BGI they haven't heard back if it will be re-scheduled or not.
going to commit very soon(ucla or nd) but it will be a silent one to the coaches...plans to use all official visits--247

Im assuming to hold a spot?
Sorry, but he's not good enough to do that (if I was coaching). If he was a 5 star that my program desperately needed, I’d say ‘yessir’ and would still recruit the hell out of him and hope he stayed with us.
But Alloway isn’t that guy. I’d accept his ‘commitment’, but I’d also say that we’re still going to be looking for more slot receivers as well, and if someone wants to give us a firm commitment, we’d have to take it, since we aren’t solid enough with you. It’s his life and I completely get why he wants to live it up…but there are risks associated with it, especially if you aren’t a superstar. ND can’t be left holding the bag like they have so many other times.
Yea, if I were the staff I would accept the commitment and most definitely keep recruiting his spot. FWIW, I just don't like the feel of this. Wants his spot held without being held accountable by the public, is what it sounds like to me. Continue to recruit Stovall.

Exactly. It's like I used to do with all of my concurrent girlfriends. "Yeah, we're dating but let's not tell anyone yet. Makes it more exciting, also, if you see me with other girls, I'm just hanging with them for fun. But I'll always come back to you".
Not to long ago on here i said that him wanting to visit UCLA and talking about a Michigan visit and offer was annoying, some on here attacked me. Saying that " he just wanted to make the best choice for himself ". Hello what do you guys think now. haha
I personally think thats a different scenario. Taking visits prior to a commitment is most definitely the right thing to do, I'd never argue against that. What he is doing now is asking a coaching staff to assume all the risk by committing but not making it public. There is at least some level of responsibility that a player takes/assumes with a public commitment. This isn't even doing that.
Kind of the same, an article came out saying he really wanted a Notre Dame offer and it would be a game changer for him. He gets the offer we are leading coming in and going out. Then i see another article Michigan " man if i got an offer from them it would be a game changer. Its all the same Nonsense.

I think the exact same thing, "haha". I believe you were wrong then and you're wrong now. If a kid isn't ready to commit, I have no problems with him taking visits to make sure. Why commit when you're not ready.
BUT, if a kid commits and then says he still wants to take visits, I do have a problem with that. Can you really not see the difference in that?
And please, who attacked you? Who got personal with you? No one attacked YOU (I certainly didn't), but many of us did debate your argument. There is a huge difference. If yo don't like people debating your points, then message boards aren't for you. There was nothing personal about the way people responded to you. You were most definitely not "attacked". (Edit: again, lucci? hahaha)
No one said it was you why are you taking such a strong stand. I honestly think your the one that does not know how a message board works.
with Theo Howard decommitting from Oregon (to head to UCLA reportedly) this might mean Alloway to ND is a done deal. Unlikely UCLA takes both?
per 247--he was set to commit to ND then got cold feet...ucla just landed a commit today who is projected to be a slot guy like damian...its a matter of time until he is irish
Is half our class going to be from Cali?
It seems like lately we've been trending up with the Cali kids and there are A LOT of them.
Distance?
Committing too soon?
Why cold feet? Tell him to put on some IRISH socks already. Sheesh.
