Yeah, and I firmly believe that had he not blown out his knee we would've gotten into the race here. He was VERY high on ND. He handled his recruitment really silly committing to Michigan without waiting to evaluate all of his options.

You can't tell me his highlights aren't vastly superior to some of the DBs we have signed up in this class. This one will be one to track as he goes through college.

Agreed Lax, I had no idea he had a bum knee so maybe that's why. Also there was a little bit of smoke he was starting to lean to Va Tech. Will also take an official to Ohio State.

Well according to coaching staff they like the guys they got better. They simply would never that enamored with Taylor. And I'm certainly not going to question this staff when it comes to evaluating HS kids and projecting them down the road.

Meh. They also never even got to evaluate him in full. He never camped, we never visited him in the evaluation period, and he blew out his knee. So no one really has any clue what we thought/would have though about Taylor had those events not happened. For all we know he could've camped much better than White... a guy we also wasn't offered at the time Taylor was pulling the trigger for Michigan. Coleman also hadn't been offered at that point.

Just a whole bunch of unknowns...

No, YOU are missing the point. We never recruited this kid and then on top of that he tore his ACL. So saying we got "out recruited" doesn't make sense.

The moment we miss on Buncom/Edwards is when you can start saying stuff like that.

IMO we should of went after this kid, we need all the defensive help we can get. Saying we got out recruited was the wrong choice of words and for that I apologize, didn't mean to get all you guys stirred up this early in the morning.
