Canteen at RB? He's one of our faster WR's

Jafar Armstrong has the size to do it IMO. Cross train him in the slot and at WR like we did with CJ

Actually they ran a pistol/spread most of the times and out of the I with him under center.

He passed a lot more than you'd think and he didn't run as much as you'd think. And when he did run, he ran like a scrambling QB, not a RB.

I thought I'd see a lot more Wildcat action but was surprised

HS Film: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/1672042/5721bec00428ae20e4b5f8c3 .
Well I feel embarrassed. I'm an idiot. I will watch his HS tape later.

I mentioned this in another thread. I wouldn't mind that one bit at all.

I know this will never happen but didn't Julian Love play running back in high school? I mean if worst comes to worst and we have our 3-4 guys get injured

Yes he did. Here are his Senior stats. Love finished his senior season with 27 total touchdowns. He rushed 105 times for 1,075 yards and 18 touchdowns, including a 99-yarder, and caught 29 passes for 662 yards and seven scores, including an 83-yarder.

The obvious issue is that you don't use one of your best defensive players on offense, unless he can be truly dynamic with the ball in his hands.

Everybody back to Coleman or Bracy switching to RB and get the word Love outcho mouths.

I don't see it. I think Coleman would be an optimal RB candidate, but you'd essentially be robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Coleman struggled late in the year, but had some really good moments in his first year playing the position. I don't think it's wise to give up on him, because at this point, who else plays free safety? Gilman is likely the starter at SS, so perhaps Houston Griffith? As talented as he is, I don't feel really comfortable handing the starting FS job to a true freshman. That's only if ND decides to put him at FS, rather than corner.

Gilman is expected to start at Whip and JGH is at Stud.

Isaiah Robertson was #2 behind Coleman. They have enough... until someone gets hurt.

Just read Eric Hansen's Q&A, and I keep forgetting about JGH and especially Robertson.

I always thought Gilman was a better fit for the Stud, but if he can play the Whip (FS?), and so can Robertson, it opens up the possibility. Still think it may be premature, as Coleman looked good at times as a first time safety.

I wouldn’t rule out the fact that Jalen Elliott could drastically improve. He hasn’t been playing safety long so a lot can happen in seven months.

Any info on why Coleman sat the bench vs Vandy? He was reported to be healty by CBK. That likely leaves attitude/bad week of practice or off the field issues.

I honestly think it’s nothing more than giving Griffith some significant reps. He doesn’t seem like a kid who’d be in the doghouse

BK said it was just situation and game decision and said he will be playing against WF.

I think it’s just a general goodbye. Did a semester just end?

Besides, Coleman did play as true freshman, he exhausted his eligibility this season.
