I can’t begin to explain the feeling. There are no words to fill the void. There’s something this place, & these people, do to you that no one can garner the words to explain unless you’re a part of it. I guess Lou did say it best - “Those who know Notre Dame, no explanation is necessary. Those who don’t, no explanation will suffice!” I THANK YOU! I THANK YOU! I THANK YOU for what you’ve given me these past 4 years. I was probably only able to recognize a tenth of the people who have moved my life in a direction that I could never imagine on my own! From my immediate family, to my football family, to the red army, to the supportive & the non supportive fans, to my Stanford Hall brothers, to all the professors that’ve dedicated so much, to the best business school, Mendoza, my Clancey St brothers, my Prep family, to the friends! To the friends!! To the long Time friend’s! to my Lady who’s loved me unconditionally! to Jack Swarbrick, to the alumni that’ve help mold me (you know who you are), to Fr. Jenkins - I owe you all. An Instagram post does this school no justice. Thank you Notre Dame

No mention of Brian Kelly or is he included in "football family?"

They mentioned during the game that there were rumours about where BW was transferring too, but that they didnt want to address rumours.

Anyone have any ideas?

Was very fortunate to spend some time with him and his Mom on New Year's before the Fiesta Bowl. Very impressive people. He's one of those people you customarily wish good luck to knowing he'll never need it. 100% guaranteed success story in the making.

We were very fortunate to have him lead us these past two seasons. He was a big part of our turn around, and honestly, deserves more credit, especially for last season. I think he still has great talent, and with a better fit, I can see him thriving. It would be a shame not to see his athletic talents utilized in a way that will lead to success on the field. Best of luck, Brandon, wherever you decide to go, and thank you sincerely for all that you have contributed on and off the field at Notre Dame!

He takes a short drive heading SW and stops in West Lafayette.

I would fade the two favorites I believe both like their expected QB (Stevens and Thompson)

It would be cool to see him at Maryland. Their running game would be insane with defenses worrying about Wimbush keeping backside every play.

Knowing the situation at GT (other than true 2019 fresh, only a couple no star or low 3 star guys to compete with) I'd love him be the guy that saves their day during the O transition.

Anyone have insight to the other schools listed as favs?

If BW goes to PSU, poor Sean Clifford. He doesn't get an ND offer when BW is the heir apparent and then BW shows up in Happy Valley and forces him down the depth chart.

PSU - McSorley graduating, Stevens has been in waiting, Clifford could challenge, seems crowded
Miss St - Fitzgerald graduating, Thompson in waiting, saw playing time as WR/Wildcat as freshman
Rutgers - Looks like returning two guys who struggled this year.
BC - Anthony Brown will be back
Maryland - Kasim Hill has started but torn ACL twice, two others saw PT and didn’t exactly lock anything down, if they were to go transfer route wouldn’t Locksley/Hurts make sense?
Miami - Should be Perry’s job, wasn’t great last year though
Syracuse - As most know, DeVito waiting but could definitely be challenged.
LSU - Burrow
Temple - Russo will be back, not sure how locked in the job is.
Buffalo - Jackson declared, could be decent plug and succeed, kind of low to go to MAC?

Personally love Cuse for him. GA Tech could work. Buffalo actually seems not too bad a option. Don’t love the others on the list.

Rutgers has the worst QBR out of any power 5 school in America. Brandon Wimbush would walk in and start right away. N’Kosi Perry is extremely talented but also played like crap when given the chance and is a well known idiot who posts sex videos on his snap story. Kentucky was a QB away from a title run this past season, their QB sucked really bad and they’d be looking out for a new guy if he’s competent. I know people expect coaches to be excited about their next guy stepping up and they’ve groomed them for a long time, but coaches need to win and they don’t care about who will lead them to wins. Auburn has 5 scholarship QB’s including 4 4* QB’s and yet were still looking at grad transfers for the 2019 season. The only thing most coaches care about is stuffing the roster with as much talent as possible.

Miami may not be a destination. Heard someone on clay Travis mention that Hurts may be heading there.

So apparently he reached out to OSU to see if there was room at the in and he thought about staying at ND and moving to RB or WR but wants to play QB. OSU thought about it but held Justin Fields in higher regard so they didn't have a scholarship available. They sited PSU(which I think is Steven's job) Ga Tech, Auburn, Oklahoma and WVU. Rutgers is the sleeper team IMO but I don't think he starts over Stitowski over whatever.

This was sent from me DM and I believe it's from Bucknuts the source over at 247
