Apparently Mykelti is also a very good basketball player, not really sure of how good, but he plays for the Indy Hoosiers AAU team

Need to have a better highlight film. Takes too much effort to evaluate because you can't tell which one he is.

Per Josh Hemboldt of II, interest has picked up from ND in recent weeks and he will be attending ND's Junior Day.

Wow. I've never seen this much interest from so many in-state kids. It's usually 1 in-state kid, maybe 2

Yea, we'll see if anything comes of the interest but there seems to be more in-state talent than in years past.

It's been trending upward for a while. Warren has put a lot of kids in D-I programs for quite a while now. Don't know of it was academics or some other reason that ND typically didn't pursue kids out of Indy or Indiana unless they were a consensus top player.

I think it's a great thing that the staff is trying hard to at the very least be the top school that all the best talent out of Indiana considers and strives for. It may be that only a couple guys each year are worthy of scholarships, but expressing interest in the prospects and getting them to ND is huge for creating and cultivating relationships in-state. Got to keep the elite in-state talent at ND when it comes along, and recruiting like this helps you to do that.

I think this kid is gonna blossom his senior year, and wouldn't be surprised to see him bumped up to a 4 star recruit. Physically he is great. Just needs to show more on the field.

Didn't get wowed by the highlights, but I agree with comments. It was a poor film.

I am not ready to buy a 4.5 forty. But the kid can hit. With better senior film if he shows the propensity to, screw, blew and tattoo, the kids may be worth quite a bit.

I don't think he's a bad prospect. Indy has churned out some pretty good safeties over the years.

Thing with a lot of those kids was always whether or not they could make admissions here.

I wonder if this means we aren't in good shape with Kinnel/Edwards, or if it means Prentice is for sure gone.

#28 safety overall isn't bad. He has more promise than John Turner.
