LOL. Modern social media is all about trending. Whatever happened last is the only reality until the next thing happens.

I am reserving any dread for after the hire. If they hire a really good DC--like they did last time--then it will be an exciting off-season. If they don't, I can tune it out then.

And if I am a recruit, I am thinking, "yup, welcome to college football, glad I signed with an excellent school, rather than some random school that currently has a coach who could leave at any moment." Did any of them think actually think Elko would be here when they were seniors? No.

IDK...I just don't thnk it's the end of the world ND didn't give Elko a raise and he left for A&M. We don't know the whole story. And I have real life sh*t to worry about...

But they weren’t you being calm, cool, and relaxed when someone simply disagreed with you. I’d just reconsider calling other cry babies. No reason to get into more than that.

I want to see Drue, Coney, Tillery, and the rest of the recruits and returners with the opportunity to play a little pissed and prove a point next year. The new DC will have a great chance to capitalize on that emotion.

Someone mentioned they noticed he started following Athletes First agency and Matt Miller within the past week or so. Yes, and I assumed the worst when this thread showed up haha. Next year's team gets a lot better or takes a step back based off how the go IMO.

Honestly, (and this is a "no info" personal opinion) I would bet on them both returning at this point. Always heard Tillery was leaning towards coming back, and I think Coney was leaning the other way based on what was reported... but my vibe as this has dragged on longer and with Lea being named DC is that both would've announced they were going to declare already if that was the case. Just IMO but I wouldn't be surprised if there was an "official announcement" or something about them returning being worked on that'll be released this evening.

Underclassmen have until Jan. 15 to file declaration papers with the NFL. The league will release an official list of early entrees on Jan. 19.

I would assume earlier if they actually file their paperwork but the latest offical word would come on Friday from the NFL.
